Which obscure or underated characters do you think would make the best of playable fighters?

We have some obscure characters out there, like Master Higgins from Adventure Island, Joe and Mac, Sparksters from Rocket Knight Adventures, etc. Not to mention we have characters who may or may not be obscure but are rather underrated by fans and maybe Nintendo themselves. Still, there may be potential characters who are obscure or underrated, or even both obscure and underrated who would make for great fighters, possibly unique ones, too. With that said, which obscure and underrated characters do you all think could make great and/or characters? Don't forget to explain why do you think so, and how (as in special gimmicks or moves) they would be great or amazing as playable characters?

Goemon a ninja with a chain pipe and cool just Power Ranger like robot called Impact.

Wart a frog with potential to use objects of the other bosses in his game like Mouser's bombs, carpet, Phanto Mask, ect.

Mach rider a bad*** freedom fighter from the future that can drive a motorcycle, use a gun, use a chainpipe, and ect.

The Shale King from Wario Land, he would be cool for Smash.
(As well bring more Wario Land content.)
  • Neutral Special would be the fireballs
  • Side Special is easy, the helmet charging attack
  • Up Special would be like Dedede's Super Jump with shock waves
  • Down Special would be based on Wario's Earthshake punch
  • Grab attack would be the shaking thing
  • Final Smash: The giant blue laser of death

Fassad for Smash

He could use
Pigmask gadgets and stuff
and could also use
horns and PSI from his boss fights
. He could borrow Diddy's down-b too.


I wanna doot doot people to death. Is that too much to ask?

I’ve wanted Lloyd from Beginnings in Smash for quite a bit. He has a more unique personality than Jeff and would be a good way to rep Beginnings without using the admittedly moveset-potential-lacking Ninten, especially if you were to composite in some of Jeff’s weapons.
