You can't count the 7th gen systems yet because they're not dead... yet. But who ever said that the SNES don't win, somethings not right, lol.

I guess it's hard to figure out sarcasm over the internet huhBah.
People need to start telling me when they're kidding/being sarcastic.
You sure like disagreeing with everyone else don't you =PPC.
lolzzzz
Yeah, not to mention I generally suck at that in real life as well, making it even worse.I guess it's hard to figure out sarcasm over the internet huh
I agree, MPH really is a blasphemy compared to Super Metroid.Like Metroid Prime Hunters.
Actually, it's sort of blasphemy to even compare Metroid Prime Hunters to Super Metroid. There's such a margin between the two.
To be perfectly honest, I at first didn't think the DS would be that great of a handheld. Then I got one, and it was amazing.Yeah, not to mention I generally suck at that in real life as well, making it even worse.
I'm really surprised at the amount of DS support. Even if you're wowed by the DS (I personally am not), I don't see how you can rate it above things like the SNES and GB. There are a lot of innovative titles, but I think all of the franchise titles on the DS are either A) Remakes, and thus depend on another console (mainly N64), or B) Much worse. Like Metroid Prime Hunters.

But obviously, I'm not saying you're not allowed to feel that way. I'm just shocked.
Mph didnt even get good ratings. and theres not alot of people out there that thinks the game is special they just play it for the wifi. How many ds games do you own?Yeah, not to mention I generally suck at that in real life as well, making it even worse.

So a 8+ is not a good rating? To me, I thought a game that get at least a 7.9 is a good game, but I guess I'm wrong in a lot of levels. Game Rankings gave it a 87%, last time I checked, that was a good rating, unless you mean to say it didn't get a godly rating like 9 or 10+.Mph didnt even get good ratings.
It all comes down to what types of games that you like. For myself, I really enjoy the types of games that have become a staple on the DS: Quirky Japanese fare (i.e., Elite Beat Agents), RPGs (i.e., The World Ends With You), and just plain awesome handheld games (i.e., FFTA2, Lock's Quest, Mario Kart DS, Tetris DS). If you're a really old school gamer like yourself, though, Firus, I can see where you would appreciate the more 2D and side-scroller-centric GBA and SNES over the DS, because there've been precious few games made in that old school style. It's mostly a forward-looking console (with exceptions), and if that's not what a person is looking for in a handheld then the DS is most probably not the place for them.I'm really surprised at the amount of DS support. Compared to other Ds & previous 2d metriod games its not great AT ALL. majority of this games fun comes from wifi. and you cant even play 5 games straight without running into some F** with AR. The story wasn't compelling, it could of been so much better but nintendo of america slacked of on this one.So a 8+ is not a good rating? The PC definately is pretty awesome, if only for its ability for people to create mods for the game. The PC would be my favorite console, but it doesn't see any Metroid, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear, or other console-only games. If those started to come out for the PC, then it probably would be my favorite platform.I like PC the best (and not because you can download games for it). I think that the controls are the best for almost all types of games, it can be customized, it has more variety than even the most popular console, and you can have mods on the PC. Seriously, The Elder Scrolls becomes a hundred times better modded. Vanilla Oblivion is so boring...
Well, I suppose it's more how you use it. It's not a console per se, but it does have a massive number of games for it and it can be a powerful machine for gaming.Just thought I'd point out, a LOT of people (myself included) don't really consider PCs to be "consoles" per say.
I second this!I also sold MPH. Multiplayer was sort of fun, but I didn't like playing it online since some people cheat.
