Which character do you think got the biggest nerf?

I would have to say Samus. They made her bomb jump really hard to do, and severely weakened her projectiles. (Which, ironically, make Samus the character she is.)

Fox got a huge nerf, so did Falco.

Peach was nerfed pretty bad (down smash went from one of the best moves in the game to garbage).

Sheik. It looks like her kill potential has dropped. It looks like Sheik/Zelda will be much better. Using Sheik to build up people damage and then Zelda to execute them. So, as far as characters go, I think its a good thing too.

I'd have to say Samus. Despite how cool her projectiles look, they're weak as crud.

yeah, samus definetely didn't get the worst nerf, since it wasn't actually a complete nerf, as the above post said her physical attacks are more powerful. Also, her projectiles move faster this time around.

The character with the biggest nerf was definately fox, the new game engine nerfed him a lot but he still was imbalanced, so he was nerfed again (and after all that, hes not weak, just BALANCED). Falco also hit hard. Marth was hit by the new game engine but the only nerfs her recieved was his range was decreased and his recovery is squat.. well actually mabye those are big nerfs.

I can't decide whether fox or sheik got the biggest hit..hmm. sheik now only has 1 kill move, upsmash, everythng else has 0 to very low knockback but she is still the combo queen... hmm cant decide

Samus' missiles were very powerful in Melee though.

She looks simply leet in Brawl, and she wasn't "The best" in Melee either (She's still awesome though )

I'd say Fox comes next. He dropped from godly to mere mortal. They basically edited everything that made him cool. *sigh*
Samus comes third. I really don't see why they nerfed the missiles and charge beam. It just makes no sense to me.

Besides that, the only other people who got nerfed really are the heavy guys like Ganondorf and Bowser since they have no l-cancel.

call me crazy but fox and falco got the most nerfs. can anyone tell me if both marth and jigglypuff have been nerfed too? i wish sheik didn't get nerfed.

what are you talking about? bowser got major buffs! even gimpyfish was telling every single detail on his buffs. and when you see bowser fighting, hes buffed and more playable than before. if there was thread that asked who got the highest buffs, bowser would be #1. kirby would be #2.

All the fast broken chars got nerfed to do less damage and have more cooldown between their moves. Samus also took a major hit, especially in speed and damage.
She moves a lot slower, and her charged shot is nowhere near as effective as it used to be.

Yoshi, certainly. No djc and nerfed up-B, i.e. pretty much all that made him competition viable in Melee. >_<

Uh... guys. Peach was buffed. They weakened her down smash and recovery, but everything else went up. Peach has more than just her down smash you know.

Marth, well he's just about the same. His side B was buffed, his recovery stayed the same (his up B goes farther now, so losing his floaty side B didn't do much), his aerials have less lag (except his dair), his down smash is faster, his up smash is stronger, his neutral B is stronger uncharged, his tipped fair is a kill move, his nair is stronger, and his counter is stronger. The game nerfed his edgeguarding. His range was nerfed. The pros. might actually outweigh the cons here. Marth didn't get hit by the nerf bat, he pressed down B and countered it.

I think Gannondorf got hit hardest by the nerf bat. Maybe it bounced off of Marth's new counter. lol

The game nerfed everyone's edgeguard because of the snapping. But yes, Marth in his already godly status, avoided the nerf hammer. Lame.

i dont really know as of yet i want to find out myself i hear link has got the real shaft so that sucks as he was my melee main but it would seem that Toon Link is a beast to be reconed with so i may have to jump ship to him.
