*Btw, I didn't mean to add that "U" to shffling,
my bad.

Which do you prefer,
Using C-stick or, using The A button?

Well, you HAVE to use the A button...ya know...for nairs.

Unless you like the Z button or something.

I prefer the C-stick for aerials, except for when I follow up on throws.

Lol, and what's up with your formatting? Are you writing a poem or something? Nah, I'm jk, do what you like, don't worry about me.

I see.
I thought shffling was just any aerial that was sh-ffed and l canceled, I didn't know it only refered to Nair.

And hah, I've actually been getting **** about my formatting all day, so I'll just do the color, not the align.

It does refer to all aerials with extreme exceptions.

You can shffl any aerial sheik has though.

He just means that you're unable to input her nair with the c-stick and you're forced to use A if you want to shffl a nair.

Try picking an annoying font as well.

You see, there's this guy who likes to have frickin 20-page essay posts in a bright green, lucida console (the one Notepad uses) font text.

We would love to have someone else burn off our eyeballs for a change.

Anyways, the only difference that I can really see in doing aerials with C-stick vs. A is that it's more awkward to learn retreating aerials with the A button, although it is entirely possible with both. And I'm not sure if it's just me or something, but FC'ing stuff with Peach with the C-stick seems difficult, but that's just me.

Everything else just falls to preference.

Although, I think shine aerials are easier to c-stick as well.

Oh and I don't think you can do aerials while holding an item if you C-stick them, you just throw it (just in case you ever snag a beam sword from Peach.)

Lol, just random info. Sorry.

Right, haha.
It's alright man, I enjoy some random info here and there.
And yeah, I'm not a big fan of posting up 20 pages of typing, I'm too lazy for that.

I'm just new to competitive play in ssbm and I wanted to see everyones preference on things such as that. I've got wave dashing down pretty good and my wave landing is alright but, my shffl is lacking, IMO.
I've been using the A button to do it but, it seems like I'm putting alot more effort into it then I should be.

And it seems like sh's are harder with sheik over other characters.

Yeah, you have to let go of the button within 2 frames I think, that's like 1/30th of a second. It's on par with Fox and Samus, don't worry, I had a lot of difficulty with it too.

Just try out c-sticking for a bit, and if it feels comfortable, go for it.

If shffl's feel a bit too fast paced, you can practice them first with Marth. Most agree that his shffl's are really easy to get down due to his slower speed in the air. That's how I learned lol.

heh, when i play marth I end up overestimating how easy his sh is, not thinking about it, and fhing all over the place.

but yeah, ive actually lately been getting sloppy and using the A button, messing up my DI and occasionally throwing the wrong move and generally getting screwed by it, so I'd have to say my personal recommendation is to use the C stick.

C-Stick is so much easier for directional aerials when SHFFL'ing and retreating because you don't have to change the control stick position as much. It allows you to start the FF earlier and have more accuracy, unless you've got really fast hands or something.

I do similar things to Amsah.

Or rather I took after his example.

Works very well for me too ^_^

Watching Amsah at pound was such an eye opener ;)
