Simple idea, just name your favourite sporting moment(s).

By far my favourite, Liverpool vs AC Milan Champions League Final. The game was unbelievable. Conceded in the first minute, then went in at half time 3-0 down. Came back in the second half and scored 3 in like 15 minutes or something. Then in extra time Dudek made the most unbelievable double save I've ever seen in my life, simply defied physics. Then to top it off Dudek with the Grobbelaar legs in the penalty shoot out. What a game. Can't believe we won it.

FA Cup Final against West Ham too. Down 2-0, get back to 2-2, concede again then Gerrard scores in the dying minutes and we win on penalties again.

Others include beating Man U 4-1 at Old Trafford,
beating Real Madrid 4-0 at Anfield,
Gerrard goal against Olympiakos,
Gerrard goal against Middlesborough,
Beckham goal against Wimbledon,
Alonso goal against Newcastle from his own half too,
Zidane headbutt,
winning the Rugby World Cup in 03 with the last minute Wilkinson drop goal,
Roberto Carlos and that freekick,
Michael Owen goal vs Argentina World Cup 98,
beating Germany 5-1,
just Torres in general, goal against Blackburn comes to mind,
beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge after their home record...

What's yours?

Throw up youtube links if you can.

I have wayyyyy too many...but one of my favorites occured last year during the opening series for the Cleveland Indians, they played the Yankees at New Yankees Stadium. It was a total blowout: 22-4, Cleveland.
Most of the runs were scored in the top of the second(14 to be exact). The second inning lasted 37 minutes and there were NUMEROUS pitching changes. Total Tribe at-bats in the game? 52. 25 hits. 6 HRs.
This was also a pretty awesome game for the team and fans alike: Cabrera got his first grand slam, 'Wedgie' got his 500th career win, and the Tribe beat the Yankees by a GREAT margin in their new stadium. And this was the second time within the decade we scored 22 runs against the Yanks in a game.
All in all, it was fun to watch.

Watching Jordan sink his famous shot at the end of his career with the Bulls. I don't think I could grow tired of watching that footage. Even though he came out of retirement, I think everyone still thinks of that shot when they think about the end of his career.

Don't forget Rey Mysterio winning the Royal Rumble coming in first.

Shawn Micheals vs. John Cena at WrestleMania

Shawn Micheals vs. Undertaker in Hell in a Cell

Batista and Undertaker in Steel Cage match. Pretty awesome that they both hit the floor AT THE SAME TIME.

Worst Moments in WWE:

The whole Mickey James (thats her name right? I haven't seen wrestling in about 2 years XD) is obsessed with Trish Stratus...

mention more later

Well, this was a personal story so...

On the way to a soccer game of mine, my dad was joking with me about scoring 5 goals in one game. I said, "Sure, how much ya wanna bet?" He said 100$ (Jokingly, of course). So, with nothing to lose, I took it. I did it. Don't ask me how, but I did. I mainly took lucky shots (And robbed a friend of mines goal xD) He did pay up, too. So, easy money xP

I probably got a gazillion if I stop to think.
Anyway the first one that pops to mind.

Lebron James scoring Cleveland's last 25 points against the Pistons in game 5 of the 2007 nba playoffs to get the Cavs the win in double OT.

Lol announcers. My favorite was when Lebron packed Yao and I think the same guy said THAT BASKETBALL WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.

Australia vs Japan in the 2006 World Cup. First time Aussies were in the world cup in forever.
Japan had scored a kinda bs goal, with 10 minutes left and Australia on the verge of defeat, Australia somehow go on a goal kicking spree, scoring 3 sending the whole country of Australia into euphoria.

Which reminds me, World Cup this year, YEAHHH!

So many to choose from! In no order...

1. Tony Hawk's first 900... Skateboarding IS a sport (in my opinion).

2. Reggie Miller's 3-pointer over Jordan in Game 4 of the 1998 Conference Finals... He was too clutch.

3. Antwaan Randle El's touchdown pass to Hines Ward on the trick play in Super Bowl XL... That took serious guts.

4. The Zidane headbutt... and also the shootout.

5. The Pittsburgh Penguins beating the Washington Capitals in Quadruple Overtime of the 1996 playoffs... I can't believe my parents let me stay up for that.

Whoops! I shoud have read the title of this thread more carefully. I thought it was about memorable sports moments instead of favorite sports moments. The Raiders/Patriots "Tuck Rule" wasn't one of my favorite moments in sports at all. The Raiders got hosed.

For me personally I liked watching the Detroit Pistons trounce the L.A. Lakers in the 2004 NBA Finals. Detroit was supossed to lose that series and instead they won it in 5. The Lakers had an All-Star lineup of Kobe, Shaq, Gary Payton and Karl Malone and they couldn't pull it off (even though Malone was playing on an injured knee). That year was the first year one of my favorite teams in the big 4 sports (NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB) won the championship.

Shaun White beasting the halfpipe in the 2010 Winter Games was epic as well.
