***What's going on with Smashbros.com?***

See the leaf next to the name of the level on the official site? That is the Animal Crossing symbol for Brawl. They only made new symbols in Melee for new characters, like Mr. Game and Watches, Marth's, and for the Ice Climbers. For stages and items that didn't have characters, they just used the smash symbol, the circle with the + through it. They are doing the same thing for this game. Look at Dr. Wright from Sim city in the assist trophy section. He doesn't have a Sim city symbol, he just has the smash one because he is not a playable character. Since they created a new symbol for Animal Crossing, I'm hopeful that there will be a playable character from it.

Nice observation. Based on your evidence from Melee, you probably hit it on the dot providing that they follow through with these subliminal hints

What other noticable changes have you spotted?
Besides the pipes pretty much disappearing leadin to a hopefully to a bigger revamped "Peach's Castle" level -thank god- I don't really see anything else.
One thing that really makes me think is when I saw people brawlin in the little rectanglular shaped spot right near where the -oh another change, haha- statue used to be that's near the ocean. Confusin? haha. But it makes me wonder because if somebody were to hit somone left or right, the'd fall in the semi-shallow water. Since it isn't that deep would you be able to fight underwater or would it be a place where you would just fall downwards. It's had me thinkin ever since. Want to find the answer out so badly.

Yeah that little tiny thing, an icon at that, can have so much meaning. It really does suggest that there COULD be an Animal Crossing character, but then again, who could POSSIBLY fit the bill as far as move sets go?

I, for one, can honestly see Tom Nook running around any given Level KO'ing everyon in his wake, he has the quality of a party smasher. I would play as him for fun, boy he would be FUN. lol

But on the flip of the coin, he would make a great AT.

Yeah, I've seen that. There's a few noticably changed land marks.
I'm guessing there'll be about 5 "Battle spots" on that stage.

Well, I used to think they would have a item from AC like the golden shovel, or something, but there is already a level and a big possibility that Nook is a AT, they may not have one.

I mean, Fox, Marth, and Roy don't even have items as far as we all know.

Yeah, we ARE gettin to fight on top of the shine gate, though. Just take a look at it, it's got two huge, new jutting-out yellow - a lot of adjectives there =D - platforms coming out of the upper side of it. And that place in front of the statue stills puzzles me as you;'ve seen in my very long paragraph a little bit farther up the page.

I wonder myself if there are actually going to be AC characters in brawl, i still doubt it, but the leaf emblem says other wise......melee never had just a stage to repesent a series, but then again this isn't melee anymore ^^

lol, who knows, but somebody had a great idea on how to unlock Mr. Resetti if he was in the game. While in a battle on a certain level - probably the AC one - reset your game. When you turn it back on you will battle with Mr. Resetti. =D At least, i think that's what he was saying, if not, I thought up of that from reading his post. =D

Well... I meant the citizens of your town. Like they can pick one animal's personality, and do statistics on who the favorite for that personality and put that character in the game. That's not a very logical possiblity, but anything can happen.

1 word: Miis. Chances are they be the new AC humans=playable in AC=main characters. Resetti doesn't fit, AC were upgraded into Miss, and K.K. Slider is all but confirmed to be a NPC, along with Nook!

November 18th, 2001 - Omg, I can't even say it!! If you finish Mushroom Kingdom, the first leevl in adventure mode, with a time like 5:32 or a 2 in that exact spot, you'll get to fight Luigi!
