What will be the first thing you do when Brawl is in your hands?

Before anyone goes into the probability of FD requiring unlocking and ranting on how you won't be able to play FD out of the box, stop taking this so seriously and accept that given the choice, this is what most of you will do.

You do realize that a lot of the tourney players are really looking forward to Brawl so the game will have more variety in tournaments. Right? We have been playing Melee more than you people, and most likely in more ways then you people. You'd be suprised by how many other modes the tourney players fool around with now and again. We don't just stick on a straight set of rules.

Most of you 'pro' smashers seem to enjoy playing FD (or similar maps, whatever you play to eliminate the randomness of each fight) with either: Falco, Fox or Marth. It doesn't amount to a lot. You get a few people or tourneys that may stand out here and there, but from what I've seen, it's a lot of SSDD.

I found it humorous, albeit stereotyping people who play smash seriously. I don't think the community will autoban all items and most stages until after they've been proven in competitive play to be unsuitable for tournaments.

And I'm one of those guys that doesn't think wavedashing will make a return. But we'll see.

I think alot of people will want to get the feel of the new game mechanics before doing what the OP suggests, but there are always the few who cant wait. My school had a Halo 2 tournament the day it came out.

First, I will only use Fox in training mode to see if wavedashing is still in. (ignore the avatar and sig. . . . . . .and yes. . . .the level in training mode is FD muwhahahahahahahhhah). Then, I will turn off all the items (yes all of them, why, because scrubs use them to suck the life out of tourney players).

After using advance techs and calling people scrubs for not using them 50,000 times, I will come to all of the casual people's houses and force them to use advance techs. . . . . . . .

Yes, this is my master plan. In fact, this is all of the tourney player's plans. We are much superior to you and therefore, should call everyone scrubs. XD

In all honnesty my favorite stage at the moment is mute city. I'm also pretty fond of pokemon stadium (which is in brawl, sweeet) Yoshis story (same) and of course final destination since I play the space animals.

The only stages I heavily dislike (that are not banned) are Pokefloats and Battlefield. I dont much care for fountain either but I dont mind it.

I also love corneria and rainbow cruise as stages. Gotta have variety or it gets boring.

1. I get a Wii and SSBB for Christmas/my birthday. I unwrap both of those... then basically tear open everything else in a rush, say thanks, grab my Wii and SSBB and run frantically towards my room. There will be no reading the manual for me either. Not a chance in hell. XD

2. I go to the store and buy it... Run frantically out of the mall/store whatever, get in the car, speed all of the way home and crash and die.

Oh wait, don't take that seriously. In reality I don't even drive (and I'm 18... XD) So there won't be any speeding and then crashing and dieing. =(

Still if I go to the store to get it, I'll probably be barely able to control myself. Probably not allowing my parents to do anything other then take me home.

Well, after I've drooled all over the plastic case (making sure to wipe my mouth thoroughly before I remove the disk, naturally) I will go straight to the versus character select screen-- see who is there and who isn't, then start tryin' crap out! Thats the best way to play this game, I hope that they put a type of mode thats not single button, but only allows you to shine with fox on FD and you have to play fox. That would then set us up for very fair and exciting tourneys. the other stuff is just there to make scrubs feel better because they haven't had *** with a girl yet.
