What To Do With The Flu

Well I'm stuck home sick, and have to miss a day of school. So I want to ask you all, what do you do when your sick?

I usually drink lots of OJ, water, and snapple while I have to stay in bed. I hardly ever get sick, and when I do it gets really bad, and my fever gets very high. So I end up having to wear cold towels to keep the fever down. If I can get through the sickness, and fever I try to do as much work from my school's website as possible. SOmetimes I can get to play video games.

I had the swine flu this summer but my doctor was an idiot and was like, "it's just a cold."

(my dad is an epidemiologist and he took a sample to teh labz and confirmed my dad and my suspicion that it was swine flu and not a cold.)


But yeah, just rest, keep your fever down, and drink lots of liquid.

Ahh that sux, I'm like you, I hardly ever get sick, but when I do it pretty much immobilises me.

I usually just lie in bed, listen to music, sleep, try to eat.

i eat ramen more often

but if im sick? ramen would still be great but

i just wanna pull out that campbells!

wow... im sick right now myself..... but when im home sick, the tv, and wii is off limits.... parents rule. ugh id rather be in school right now!!! lolol
i jsut lay in bed with my ipod in my ears all day!! lol
i NEVER eat when in sick... i just never have the appetite! haha

While this is true...
I had body aches, felt extremely fatigue, and had a fever. all these signs point to FLU so he should take a sample to see if i have flu.

The doctor walked into the room and said I don't have swine flu. He didnt even look at me. wtf.

When I get flu I man up,4 stock it and sent it to the losers bracket.

But I really just drink lots of fluids,keep warm(unless I have fever)and eat loads.

Ive only been really sick like twice in my life.

Whenever I've got the flu I'm always cold and have the worst chills. All I want to do is cover up and sleep to forget about it. Once I'm too awake to sleep I'll hope to catch something good on television or watch a movie. The more you can take you mind off it the better. It's also best to eat right and drink plenty of fluids; however often when I'm sick I'll drink 7up and for some reason that has a perk-up effect on me. I just like to relax overall. I can't do homework or play video games because it's too much thinking.

I hardly ever get sick but it depends on how bad it is. If it's something small then I'll toughen it out and go to school with some medicine. If it's really bad then I'll stay home, drink water and juice, and sleep all day. If it get's any worse then it's off to the doctor. I usually don't have to worry about the flu since I get flu shots in october every year
