What shiny Pokemon do you have?

There were just so many Froakies in my PC after, I decided not to do it for other Pokémon.

I have 182 shiny Pokemon the last time I checked. After getting my Shiny Amulet, I started hunting them down in Pokemon X. I found a few in Alpha Sapphire also, but have not been back on collecting them.

So I actually found a shiny for the first time in years, and the first shiny found while actively looking for one, the other day: a shiny Whismur!

I finally got my Shiny Charm in Alpha Sapphire and I decided to test it out in horde encounters, and since I like the Whismur line and you pretty much know exactly what you're getting in Rusturf Tunnel, I decided to try there. Only took me an hour or two, to my surprise, given my past shiny luck. I'm a little disappointed because I recalled Loudred/Exploud being a cool gray/purple color, and it turns out that was only the case in 3rd gen, but I'm still pretty psyched just to have another shiny, that isn't a Bellsprout...

I've also started SRing for a shiny Regirock, since it's one of my favorite Pokemon and my favorite legend, but I am (to no surprise) having more trouble with that one. Given that I don't get the 5 encounters at once I don't have that help anymore, plus of course it's just going to feel more tedious anyway. Hoping it pays off though, I've been at it for a few days now while I do tasks that require more attention so that it's not too boring to be resetting again and again.

My first was a Shieldon I got in Pearl. Since I didn't know about shinies back then, I gave it to my sister and now she refuses to give it back.

My last (and second) legitimate shiny was a Ledyba in Soul Silver.

Then I never found a shiny again and had to rely on people hacking one for me and trying to win giveaways.

• Shiny Kecleon, first shiny in OR. Took around a 110 chain.
• Shiny Manectric, took around a 200 something chain.
• Shiny Absol, which I love to death !! It took me around 400+ on the DexNav, but it was worth it.

I have a few others, like Ninetails, Charizard, Glaceon, Jirachi... but they were obtained off of trade. I have a shiny Arceus for trade right now as well.

For ones I've captured...I've barely captured any in all of pokemon.

I caught 1 shiny in gen 2 (Other than Gyarados) and never saw another one again until gen 5 when I caught a shiny tailow.

I caught a couple in gen 6 but I can't remember which ones.

Because before it was something that was so rare that most people would get only 1 of in their entire time playing pokèmon (they would only get one without an action replay), and a lot of people wouldn't get all. No it's something that you can actively try to get.

As for an update.. I hatched a shiny Koffing and petilil both of which aren't good competitively. I Also found a Shiny Zigzagoon, and Shuppet while ev training my competitive Pokemon.. I seem to find Shiny Pokemon when I'm not trying to find them lol they just appear (I have the Shiny Charm and using Masuda method for the two that matter..)

Say hello to my newest pride and joy! I've always liked the Totodile line, and ever since learning of his Sheer Force HA I've wanted to get a shiny version to use as a set-up sweeper. This little guy was Masuda bred to get the appropriate nature (Jolly) and the egg moves I wanted. His IVs are almost perfect too - 31 in HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Speed. With the new hyper training in Sun and Moon he will be absolutely perfect - and I'm ready for the eventual Mega Feraligatr when it comes!
