What newcomer do you think will be next?

I'm sure everyone will agree that they didn't exspect Ike to be the first newcomer revealed on the Dojo website.(I was personally thinking Diddy Kong). But who you think(or hope) will be the next one. I now think they''ll give us King Dedede to make up for the lack of Kirby-related updates. What do you guys think?

i dont think we will be getting another Newcomer for a while if you consider how long it took us just to get Ike...
unless you count Pit, Meta Knight, Snake, and Wario, which i dont really because we have known about them for a very long time...
but it is only 3 months now...

Enough with Dedede. They already put in a kirby nemesis, why do people insist on filling up precious slots with just a bunch of characters from the same game?

Example: "Lol, we have link, zelda, and ganondorf. Let's put in every other archnemesis/person link's ever met (Cough midna/zant/vaati/tingle(!?))"

The original smash brothers game was all about originality and variety. There were only 3/12 characters from the same games, and that is because those characters were from Nintendo's bread and butter series, Mario. The rest were from completely different games (Except pikachu and jigglypuff, understandable though it is).

2 characters from Kirby is enough. We dont need 3, or 4, or 8. Brawl needs a bit more variety.

Try digging into your closet full of NES games, you'll find some nice characters in there =D

Why? Because he is one of the most wanted newcomers, WOULDN'T be a wasted space, and by god, he deserves to be in... in fact I think he deserved to be in over Metaknight, but that's my opinion. He's been around for the longest time.

I'm hoping for Dedede myself, in fact I'm sure he'll be in.

As for a newcomer, I'm not going to try to predict exactly which character will make it in next, honestly I have no clue, and neither does anybody else here.

We just got an update with Peach being shown. So most likey, we will see either a confirmed Peach update...

or see an update with Metaknight. My guess is we won't see a brand new character update until Mid-Late September.

The last time they showed a video Donkey Kong was in it, then Donkey Kong was confirmed the next day.

So I think that the next character will be Peach.

This probably has been said before. i really think that they won't reveal any "unlockable" characters on the site. i'd rather have it that way, it creates anxiousness for people.

So i'm guessing that metaknight won't have his own profile. at least probably until after release. that's my opinion.

Metaknight's unlockable? I keep on seeing that being said, but there's no proof behind it.

Metaknight has been regularly shown in pictures on his site, it's no secret to anybody, so why not announce him?

Metaknight seems likely, because the Halberd was shown dropping the minion things at Mario and Kirby, but Peach is more likely, because she was so blatantly shown. But this has become so unpredictable, it might just be...*holds breath*...Falco. Wishful thinking on my part, but hey, he threw us a curveball with Ike, he could do it again.

I'm gonna laugh if it ends up being a character that was only brought up as a joke, like Ryu Hayabusa. As much as that would own, I think Tecmo works specifically with Microsoft. Oh well, Sakurai can just go over to Billy Gates and whoever runs Tecmo and look at them to get the rights to Ninja Gaiden.

I would say the next veteran we get is Peach since they should her in the video so might as well get that one out of the way. For an unmentioned newcomer, I would think that eithe Krystal or Diddy would be the next one, since they were tied with Ike in that poll of his I think. For an already mentioned newcomer, I would think Metaknight or maybe Snake.

In case you don't know, Meta Knight is not a villan of the Kirby series, Sakarai stated that he wanted to put in more villans so Dedede would make perfect sense.
BTW, 3 characters from the same series is not too much, 4 is borderline (it's overdoing it unless its a really popular series like Mario or Zelda) 5 is too much, but that's what we had for Mario and Zelda in Melee.

But anyway, I think the next character we will get that's veteran is Peach (because of video, duh), I actually wasn't expecting Peach this early since we already have Bowser, I mean... a number of series aren't even really introduced yet and we already know we have at least 3 from the same series, probably 4 if Luigi.
And the next Newcomer will probably be Meta Knight, but the next new newcomer will probably be Lucas (I wish), but possible, we havent had any Earthbound mention yet.
