What newcomer do you think will be next?

If Lucas is going to replace Ness, then Lucas will be next. They probably only announced Ike, because they want to announce the returning characters. Since Marth isn't coming back, Ike is now the main FE character so they just announced him. If we don't get Lucas, we will probably get Ness, Luigi, Peach, Metaknight, Falcon, etc. until they announce all the starting characters. Then we will probably get some new newcomers. They will probably wait a while for Snake and others who are secret.

Third party characters will likely be the last to come. Or, they'll include it in a trailer, or you'll see a snippet of one in an image, and then they'll be like "Oh yeah, Sonic is in the game. Surprise." like what they pulled with Solid Snake.

Anyway, I think that the next announced character will either be Peach (with some Mario themed music and her Final Smash) or Metaknight (with a final official announcement of his stage, and Kirby's Final Smash).

I am leaning towards Metaknight, and the reason for that is because they appear to be tying up loose ends. For example, they unveiled Ike (which was a surprise), but then they confirmed that Ike's stage was the castle, which we had already seen. As such, I think they will do the same with Metaknight, since we have already seen both that character and stage. Then they will go to Peach. And then, Olimar. Please Olimar.

-The next FE rep (that one's up in the air right now)

That was another liberty I took. I figured if any of Yoshi's spinoff games had a rep, it'd probably be Kamek or Birdo, probably Kamek. If not, then definitely as ATs.

I agree with Granite here. Third parties will probably come last because Sakurai knows that they're what everyone's clamoring for. Peach, Meta, or Falcon will probably be next. Peach isn't semi-confirmed, she practically IS confirmed now, so Sakurai will tie off that loose end (sort of how he did with Samus's Final Smash and then the next day presenting Zamus). Metaknight will probably come soon, and he'll probably go along with the Halberd or the Kirby Lagasi Live! Final Smash. BAM! Falcon could also be next, because like Yoshi before him, he's been waiting a while to be confirmed. June 4th was Yoshi's music. June 12 was Yoshi's stage. Yoshi was confirmed over a month later on July 24. Falcon became semi-confirmed after his famous arch-rival, Samurai Goroh, was announced as an item on July 2. So he's been semi-confirmed for a few days over a month now.

So I think chance-wise (greatest to least), I think it might go: Peach-Falcon-Meta. But you never know... It'd be great if Sakurai did two confirmations in one week...

Oh yes, and THEN Olimar. Please, Olimar. And please, make him playable too. Diddy would also be great too.

Lol, wouldn't it be funny if on Monday Sakurai confirms Marth or someone nobody saw coming-

I wouldn't say she's the greatest character to put in Brawl, I just saying that Birdo representing the Yoshi series has a better chance than say.... shy guys...

I don't know anything about FE, but your Kid Icarus character might be Palutena.

Anyway... I think (like most people) that the next Veteran to come is Peach, and the next Newcomer to come is Meta Knight, but I think that after Meta Knight, we won't get Snake for a while, and we may even see brand new characters first, but idk...

So far we've got newcomers from all but two of the franchises that we've had veteran updates for: Kirby and Starfox. My guess is either Meta-Knight, King Dedede or Krystal. Depends which Kirby character's unlockable, I think they're announcing the starters first.
