The official Smash site says that the music will be recorded by a large orchestra with a choir singing in Latin for some parts, and opera singer Ken Nishikiori will be singing as well for some songs.

nomis, the Onett stage in Melee is from the original Mother, an overworld track called "Bein' Friends."
That said, I thought some of the battle music would fit (being a fighting game and all), but none of Earthbound's music is BAD, per se, so I'll be happy with whatever.

Metal palace(metal mario's stage) I would love if it returned along with its theme.
Polygon chamber(the egyption polygon level) was emo in storyline though but I liked the song I want it to appear in a cutscene

I agree with a lot of the posts here. The theme I want more than any other, being that it's one of my favorite video game themes in general, is the Dark World theme from A Link to the Past. I think this theme would be great to smash the living daylights out of your opponents with.

SOOO true! I loved, and still loves those tunes! Secret of Mana, Megaman X, Starfox(at least some of them are kept) and those games got the best music ever!! Ride of the Valkyries was a boss theme in King Arthur's World, so I'd love to play a level with that as an alternate song! And the theme from Megaman X, in Storm Eagle's level would be freaking awesome!
And maybe Dwarf Village from SoM?

As for third-party characters, I hit a stumbling block with any of the Belmonts. The problem with Castlevania is that there are so many amazing themes, like Clockwork, Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, Dracula's Castle, The Beginning, Overture, Simon's Theme...I could go on. Even if you narrow it to only the games with Simon (the signature Belmont and the most likely), you still have to weed out from Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, and Simon's Theme (all of which are my all-time favorite CV themes, might I add). If you want to include other Belmonts/Cruces/Tepes (Tepi?)/etc...*bogglez ze mind!*

So, if they include ONE (1) Castlevania song, which one should they add?

Dude, totally Vampire Killer and Bloody Tears for one stage, and Clockwork and Drac's Castle for the second

Speaking of 3rd party chars...

I have this weird vision that we'll see that Wily's Junkyard stage from Marvel vs. Capcom in the game as Megaman's stage, followed by/or instead Monsteropolis (the city, with Light's Lab visible way off in the hills). Obviously, Megaman's theme has to be in the game somewhere. I can see it being remixed a bit with maybe the Megaman 3 and 2 title themes. Oh, and of COURSE Wily's Fortress 1 from Megaman 2 will be in this game if Mega appears Not sure about what else. I have a LOT of favorite MM tracks. But I think if they included any, they would be well-known Robot Master themes OR major title/castle music. Protoman's (Darkman's) Castle and the intro music from 5 rock, and pretty much any MM2 Robot Master theme can be argued as Smash worthy (hell, a few of the 1 and 4 RM tracks are worthy too). Hmm... what else, I'm not certain.

Oh, and Sonic gets Green Hill Zone LOL XD

Oh man, so many great songs to choose from. In Brawl I'd hope that all characters have at least 1 stage to call their own. And the stage would share their own battle music. Here are my ideas:

Bowser: Some of his battle music from SMB3 (which was in SMRPG as well), and maybe slow it down in some parts to add in the airship or fortress themes from SMB3.

Geno: If he is in Brawl (which he should be) then his theme should no doubt be the Forest Maze theme from SMRPG.

Peach: I always did like her theme from Paper Mario, but it might have to be sped up a tad.

Pit: I think the underworld stage mixed with his title theme would suffice. But I'm positive there's going to be some Kid Icarus music in the game, so I won't worry too much.

Wario: Maybe his theme from Wario World, but mixed with bits from Wario Ware. Especially the first stages, I think there's a remix on vgmusic somewhere.

I've heard a few SSB style remixes in MIDI format, and that was one of them. There's a VG music remixer out there (he does his own stuff too), Dr. Fruitcake, who did an awesome rendition of DK64's Frantic Factory as a Melee stage. I've heard a Wario Land: SML3 Smash Bros. style remix somewhere, and a few victory themes for other characters, like Banjo-Kazooie and Sonic. I would love it if somebody really skilled out there got up and came up with some more

To continue on what I said before (about the Final Battle against Giygas tune), I think it'd actually be cooler with Latin vocals behind. Well, they wouldn't be speaking latin or anything, but if they were just going "AHH AH AHH AHHH" (it doesn't translate well into text, but trust me on that). It'd add to the apocalyptic feeling of the battle. It'd be perfect for the final boss battle of the game (Master/Crazy/Lazy/Angry/Lady/Whatever Hand or Giga Bowser or whatever).



And may I also say that it'd be awesome if the Megaman cartoon theme was in if Megaman were in. That has got to be the most catchy tune ever for a animated TV show.

-Megaman is made by Capcom.
-Nintendo and SEGA are on pretty good terms right now; SEGA has released quite a few games on Nintendo systems.
-There were no haunted houses in SMW2, you're thinking of SMW. Unless you mean the fort/castle theme.
