I'd, personally, like to see the attendance be really high for it. I hope everyone who has the money, time, and what not GOES and doesn't miss this opportunity.

I'm hoping for some really amazing mixed commentary of both informational and hype. And, it'd be cool if James Chen/UltraDavid (one of them) was in the commentator's seat with the other being a Smash commentator like prog or D1 (make it happen prog I know you can) just to see their reactions and how they might try to commentate it or w.e. It'd just be cool, is all. I know lots of people would watch it if they had a familiar face on the stream, even if it's not their favorite game.

Dream hype matches all over would be amazing. And upsets everywhere, to the point where we see someone like Westballz in GFs. Hell, M2K winning it all would be the best thing ever haha.

I see already that EVO is going to be a great melee tournament, but what I really want (as a consequence) are:

- positive publicity to the scene
- new players
- more tournaments like EVO in the future with big $
- recognition (FGC)

In short I want Melee to be the biggest fighting game played on a console, I want Melee to become huge

What do I want most out of it? Both the evo staff and the Melee community gettin along, i.e. no one ****in this up so we can become a regular event at it. Really though most of all I want to see all my melee bros having fun, I want to see fast awesome matches, and most of all I want to see FGC curiosity in our game enough to finally learn something about it instead of mindlessly dismissing it without truly understanding it.
