you do realize that guys always joke around with other guys with insults and etc. but we're guys and we know not to take it personally.

girls fail spectacularly at that and they don't get it, so when guys are just being guys they take it as something else, like they're special or something. so in reality, we're (or I; I can only speak for myself I suppose) are just being ourselves.
