the sig limit of 100 characters just makes it more optimal for ASCII drawn siggys or text-only stuff, it shouldn't count the bbc code and the URLs in them as part of the characters, and count only as ONE

OK, the system is now telling me that my avatar is "too large to process", but it's only 11.7KB and I can't find anything about a maximum avatar size. Is this actually too big, or is the server just hiccuping?

thats for tcll's texts only, he can cram as many characters as he wants in say photoshop (as text) over a canvas that fits the image size limits
then save it as a png, host it somewhere, then just use the image URL as an image for his siggy (if he can fake the text well enough, it will look as if he bypassed the character limit but he didnt, because its an image, not text)


though its still BULL**** that its only 100 characters
i used url shorteners to cram 2-3 images in my siggy - this is bull, we shouldnt have to upload a sig image, THEN go shorten the URL, then use that, we should be able to just use the image URL directly

(and then host new future polls when needed)

and I see the post order thing still sucks...
I like reversed order...

I was expecting at least some of the stuff I suggested from the down-time...
but mainly these 2 and got neither...

so what did get fixed??

• Signature limits will be adjusted, again whoever uploaded it probably didn't change the default values or test things,
• Signatures only appear once per page,
• Yes, I have zero idea why Smashboards crashed, and I'm still waiting on a reason why,
• Things such as ribbons, signature options, etc. are still not working and that's because the server's control panel is not fixed, therefore I cannot fix my testbed XenForo setup, and debug code to make it work. Doing plugin development work live on the main site is horrible practice and I don't want to disrupt any important stuff.

I thought something got done during the crash...
either way... it loads faster...

a few things to add: (typing them out so you don't have to go back)

- reverse post order option
- change and delete polls (not the thread)
- alerts behavior (remove when viewing the page)
