I had to take down my entire Wii setup for a tourney/party downtown over the weekend - should have everything back together (and work resumed) today.

Were you planning on doing all of them on Fileserve? Cause Mediafire would make things a ton easier for me if you have the choice, but it's not really a big deal or anything.

hmm well I choose file serve since it can upload a file of any size, but with mediafire you can only upload up to 200mbs with a free account. I'll upload the small flies on mediafire and then the big files on file serve.

Someone from the Marth boards referred me here.
I'd like to put about two or three videos on the boards for critique, so I understand if I post the bin files here then someone will convert them to mp4 for me? I don't have any method of uploading replays otherwise, except for using my laptop camera which makes the quality bad and the sound desynched AND bad.

Wanna just give another big thanks to Luigisama for the pro recording, there were a couple vids that were cut short (like mid-match), but the only important one that I really care about was replay37. It's on Lylat with Wolf v Lucario.

Would you mind re-recording that when you have some time? I'd like to throw it on my youtube channel.

yeah sure no problem. I'm still confused. Cut short? like it just stopped or something? or were there frame skips. I always record the replays till the end and stop it when the words game show up. hmm I'll check out replay 37 right now maybe half of it was uploaded. :?:

Yeah, replay 37 was only 30 seconds long. I didn't actually notice until I uploaded it LOL.

I think there may have been one or two others that ended mid-match too, but don't worry about those.

wow that's weird. Must be some download malfunction.

Yeah my Wii HDD is broken (didn't survive the trip back from that tourney); need to borrow a friends Wii to re-rip Brawl to a new drive. :(

The replays desync. Basically the characters start killing theirselves. Usually this happens because a code was on when the replay was saved or maybe it was saved under a different type of brawl like brawl + or project m.

If I can't solve this problem then I can't record them.

surely are the stages hack and music (ocarina) :(

that could be it. I load my stuff with Gecko. But stage hacks and music don't ususally cause de syncs.

every single time i've had that problem was because a no-tripping code was active when the replay was recorded and wasn't active when the replay was watched. could that be it?

yeah I turned on tripping and the replay still de synced. Groove also said himself he didn't play with any codes.

Edit:
maybe if Groove sent it to me through the wii perhaps it won't de sync? just a thought.

No, we don't promise to do non-normal brawl. Don't go to more trouble than you need to. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to, BC.
