I don't think so. None of us boot our brawl through a USB or at least I'm not sure why the replays won't play right.
I boot my Brawl through a USB..

Might be able to get Brawl from a friend over this weekend; should be back into converting soon. :)

since USB loads stuff super quickly i know that stuff like zelda/sheik transformation and caste siege's transformations load super quick since the only thing that delays it in actual brawl is the time it takes to load off the disc.

maybe some other nuances make a difference between usb/disc replays? this is all speculation though; i don't even know if they would make a difference in any of the cases i mentioned

These have always seemed the same to me with disc vs. USB loading...

yeah it's a dilemma. I played the replays with no tripping and I even played them with regular brawl. They still desynced.

in the following days I won't be taking replays. I am devoting my time to the Luigi boards to finish their tech video and start to work on the CCV.

Hi guys ! :)

I'm looking for a nice guy who can record me in good quality 2 matches (MK vs Lucario).
The problem is that the possessor of the replays is not able to tell me which ones are the good ones among the 10 following replays :

http://www.mediafire.com/?8jh9ia5q18b6a5e
http://www.mediafire.com/?676x46hherqn8c9
http://www.mediafire.com/?fjsfr5hmabgpglf

http://www.mediafire.com/?59d5xrae6c9x126
http://www.mediafire.com/?a82bds6otha17y2

There should be only 2 MK vs Lucario (match 1 on SV, match 2 on FD) - these are the only 2 videos I need :)

Thanks in advance ;o !

EDIT : there may have the no tripping code
I know it's only 5 days since I posted but please guys, don't forget for like 1 month like the last (and 1st) time I asked for some help :(

See that's the issue. There is only I think 3 recorders YoshQ(has a life, school and a job), John2k4(seems pretty busy), and Me(school). So it isn't easy to work with. But we will get to your order.

@Jonn start when you can. If you want make Atney here your first order. :)

The replays weren't saved on my Wii and the owner isn't able to upload the code he's using...
Too bad.

You had the massive batch of them, right?

I was going to put a good chunk of time in tonight if I can. :)
Haha, yep. That's why I don't expect them anytime soon. Just checking in once and a while to see the progress, I'm just glad someone is even touching them. Thank you!

Zomg. Thanks so much! ^__^
Also I don't suppose you know of any threads that detail good capture cards and where to get them sorta? I read aisight's thread (now I forget what it said) and I remember looking at the capture card on Amazon, but not knowing how to use it.

I don't know much there. Pinnacle has some nice options, but they're somewhat pricey. Check eBay?

I use a Pinnacle BlueBox setup from probably 2003-ish running in a dedicated capture computer.

Ah, alright. I could use Dolphin too actually when I think of it. I asked Chibo and he said he was putting a tutorial out on how to use dolphin, but I haven't seen anything from him yet. I really appreciate this, thanks a lot.

I haven't thought of this; If he forgot about it, I can test it out and make a tutorial if needed. :)

Last replay is recording now; should be uploaded within a half hour. :b:

Downloading them to my computer now. All that's left is to compress then upload them. Uploaded size will probably be between 35-55MB per video. :)

And looking at that, one needs to be redone; will also get that. =P

I wish I knew how to do that. :x
It's not too hard to convert replays once you have the hardware; we can chat about it sometime. :bee:

I'm going to upload four converted replays in just a bit (2/4 compressed as of this post) - could you find the one that didn't get recorded and give me the name of the file?

Thanks! :)

The EasyCap capture device is about $10 and records decent quality video.
