Alright! All the replays I worked on are completed. I planned on uploading Dyclone's replays along with the remaining replays I had left with vVv ZeRo. I wanted to get them all done before Christmas.

My internet went out during the upload, and I just got back from errands, so I'm re-reuploading it now.

What program do you guys use to record? My pinnacle studio refuses to work and i need to know of another better recording program that will work with the same device..

Pinnacle Studio isn't a good studio. It's alright but has too many faults to be really useful. Also when rendering or capturing a lot of crap can screw it up and mess up the syncing. Back then I also used it but was getting fed up if it's problems. You probably need to update it. However if you want something better I suggest the Hauppauge HD PVR. They're expensive but worth it. yeah, with pinnacle you can try a few different versions... like I think after 8 it upgraded the layout causing more lag, but there was some added functionality. so try 8 or 12, whichever one you haven't, then after that the versions in between.

I'm adding another harddrive to my conversion computer today, so I can probably do these.

@Ugg - I have three of yours done so far. Ran out of harddrive space, so I'm adding a second drive. ;)

Hi.

I would normally capture and upload these myself, but I'm having some trouble with my Dazzle, so I've come here for some assistance.

I'd like for these three replays to be captured and put into a folder for me to download (megaupload, rapidshare, w/e). The content is questionable, but it's actually very important. There are only two special requests I ask of whoever is going to capture these:

1) Each video be less than 100MB for easy downloading/uploading.
2) The download links be sent to me via PM, and not posted on this thread.

I don't have any specifications on video quality. As long as I can see the video clearly I'm fine. Thanks!

I'm 99% sure that I'm going to do an all-nighter to work on the queue of replays here, so I can do some more of Ugg's and Twinkie's 3 before everyone wakes up. Possibly the others too. ;)

It must be because they have been taken on a hacked Wii, with the no tripping code or sumthin'.

I'm a bit curious, why are the match files so large? I remember when I'd get my matches recorded from Yoshq they'd be under 100 mb always, now I see the 400 mb its like .-.? lol

I record videos in an uncompressed AVI format, then ZIP them up to reduce the size by about half. My recording device does not seem to allow for me to bump the quality down (and as a result get a smaller filesize). I can convert the videos if you would like, but that might reduce quality.

I converted an 8 minute replay (which started out at 1.8GB) to an MP4 file at 320.240 resolution (still good for youtube), and the quality didn't drop too much.

I still have the replay files on hand - do you want me to convert your replays to a smaller size?

thanks again john! i'm sure you'll be swarmed after apex so if i have anything to get recorded i'll make sure it isn't too much.

also, would you be able to record small parts of matches if i sent the times in with the replays? a certain character board might be trying to make a combo video but we're all equipment-less scrubs :X

That's also a good point - prepare for the APEX flood. :laugh:

If you could, I'd be really thankful. Though if it's too much trouble I wouldn't want you to. After all, you did record them once. Plus there was alot of matches, don't want to steal anymore time from you.
