I hope to atleast make it out of Singles Pools Ammon, heh.
Not sure if Jamie and I can make it out of doubles pools ;P
But seriously, today is the day I pretty much find out if I am going to SCC. If my mom says yeah, I'm going. If she says no, going to convince Jamie to let me go anyways since that friday we have no school.
I want some good smashing if anyone is game and if I'm allowed to come to that Smashfest if I'm going. Lots of ifs focused around one answer XD.
Not sure if Jamie and I can make it out of doubles pools ;P

I'd be abso****inglutely amazed if I made it out of the Singles pools. I'd either have to like...completely evolve my game to previously unthinkable heights, or get really ****ty opponents.
And yeah, I usually don't do bad against Link's, but Deva just keeps ****** me up and down the battlefield. I managed to get a Marth down to 1 stock somehow, but Deva 4 stocks me. Just goes to show how the character matchups are bull****.

This was James' first time on the list, and he lost to Deva @ GC... It would be rude to move him up until he proved himself. At least those were my thoughts on it.

why are players talking about hoping to make it out of singles pools? If we do a pool, it would be the tourney. everyone play everyone, no brackte. Don't expect 50+ players to show up, so don't count on pools happening and then a bracket. Also, we would most likely have to make the pools before the tourney. Not happening.

Nate, you're totally right about "proving self" or whatever, but it's hard when I beat a random and lose to 2 upper ranks. That's why I suggested the pool in the first place, and I'm down with a huge pool in november.

I think James might be better than Chip and Deva, but I'm still not sure.

I lost to Ammon, beat a few people, then lost to Teddy. Same thing happens to me, I rarely, if ever, lose to people lower ranked than myself, and usually lose to people in the top 5.
I'm just saying, PR Pools isnt fun, and I think I've proved myself to the point where if we do it, I shouldnt have to (16-0 last time) But, who knows, I'm no WA Panelist who could kick me off PR if I disagree >_>

RedYoshi, I`ve been reading some of your negative comments regarding me, and I`m curious, are you still butt-hurt over the last SpoRly? Why? I wasn`t even being mean to you. You were cursing at me in the corner when I suggested you use Yoshi in the tournament. What gets you so P.O.`d at me for saying that; Or the times when you would yell "YES!" evry time I lost a stock in my matches and I said- (inthe most polite way possible)- "RedYoshi, could you shut up?"
I can understand your mad, but that shouldn`t cloud your judgement and reasoning deciding on my level of skill. Deva and I both played Aftermath at GC; only I didn`t play him in tournament, so my matches with him weren`t too serious but at least I got them recorded ^_^
I`ll just get some MMs with him next month, or if we both might go to SCC this month
