sry dudes, mate got sick and he was going 2 b the lift there so we culdnt go. i was so lookin forward 2 it as well. next tim will def go, make him drive even if hes dying

dam i wish i lived in perth...maybe 1 time when im down there i could come 2 one of these tournaments a? it gets fkn boring vsn coms and my mates down the road all the time. though i think i have become pretty good with all of this excessive training, anyway il try 2 get 2 one of these tournaments one time.... Last smashfest was pretty awesome. We had a really great turnout, and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves for the most part. Also, I think that's the only time in Perth we've ever had 3 TV's going to support the number of people playing, so it was pretty cool. For next time, I'll make sure I clear out my dad's beer a bit, so there's more room for me to stock the fridge with soft drink, which will mean less warm drinks for everyone (although I don't think we had too big of a problem with that).
Also, next time I plan on setting up the VCR on the medium sized TV, so we can record matches and put them on DC++ and other places where people around the world can view how good some of you guys are getting. ^_^

Awesome, sounds good. I was talkin to my brother the other day and he said hes going to perth for a few days for a bodybuilding comp. its only like a 4 hour drive so i was thinkin of taggin along with him. If i do end up going ill definitely let u know about it and then maybe i could come 2 one of these tournaments, it'd be so cool. Who won the last smashfest? wot kind of skill lvl do most of you guys play with?
We didn't have a tournament as such, although if turnout is expected to keep up like this, I might hold one next time. Also, everyone's at different skill levels, so I can't really answer that question =P

I'll be able to drive after July 21st so I could attend some biweeklies.
I am reconfirming Mic's rumour about the next smashfest. It is on the 25th, which is a Sunday. If it is not a Sunday, then it is the closest Sunday to that date.
