VS Snake Options from the air?

I was wondering if there's any reasonably safe way to approach snake from the air following him using [a] utilt? My brother likes to utilt spam me, and I almost always fall into my bad habit of down b'ing into him until both attacks hit at the same time and he's knocked into the air, allowing me to land and assault him.
Is there anything that can out prioritize snake's utilt, or would my best bet be to try and float to a ledge?

Also, Nair can counter Snake's Nair pretty well, sometimes if you're not too close you hit him first (I think). Is that the best way to counter it besides trying to roll out of range and set up for jab or whatever?

Approaching from the air is a pretty bad idea with Ganondorf 90% of the time. Ganondorf does better when he has time to shield.

Try doing a random Dash attack or Wizard's Foot here and there if your brother is spamming tilts. It should clash with the attack, allowing you to get close with a shield. It's pretty much mindgames from there if you didn't actually hit him with the attack. Well timed Flame Chokes can also work, but have less priority.

The situation I had in mind was getting utilted up, at which point I usually try to collide into him with wizkick to keep him from juggling me. The downside of doing that is half the time he'll bair or nair me and I get thrown off stage, or I dont set myself up on the ground to get him as he falls right.
So my best bet is to just try and get away and then dash into him if he tries to keep spamming?

There's really now reason (or way, to be honest) any snake player should be able to "juggle" you; Snake has a terrible air game, so if you get sent airborn by an Utilt, navigate back to the stage, air dodging if needed, and then regain your control on the ground.

Depending on controller port, you should be able to Murder Choke right through his tilts, right?
Wow that would make me so mad. I f*cking hate all this controller port bullsh*t. Does anyone know if there's an Ocarina code to neutralize ports? It seems so ridiculously necessary at this point. This was my suggestion to fix the Ganoncide/Bowsercide debacle in the New "Improved" Rule Set threads that were popping up for a while.

I don't really have any trouble fighting Snake, I don't change my strategy either, so I guess just fight how you normally would maybe?

Choking through utilt only works if his timing if off by a few frames. If he times it right I go right into the damaging part of his attack and get knocked back, but it's mostly horizontal so at least he doesnt combo me out of it too often.
I've tired wizkick and dash; dash has a reasonable chance that I can get in a jab or ftilt after they cancel out, but wizkick cancels and ganon is left with too much lag, so snake seemingly always will get the first hit... which is usually a utilt. Putting me back in the same boat untill I can DI far enough away to stand up.
I've tried airdodging down, but he can grab me out of that too easily, toss me in the air and utilt or uair me.

So is there not really any way to out prioritize Snakes utilt or get away from him after being hit up? At low percents he juggles me to to 40-50 before I can get away from him, but I'm not sure if that's me sucking or not.

Try doublejump feinting?

Fall towards him, fastfall, then double jump before you get into range of his U-tilt. If he U-tilts, then you can probably nail a wizkick on him.

Yeah, that's what I usually do, but I'm already at 40++ damage before I can even do a dj. Also, he knows to expect wizkick because I use it so often. Maybe a fastfall fair would work...

Ray Kalm, let's just do Snake next in the match-up thread. People need help, and the match isn't nearly as difficult as a lot of people are suggesting here. Also...come on, this match-up is SO fun. Two unbelievably manly dudes just pounding away. Playing a high level snake is so satisfying...so many opportunities for really epic hits (for both parties).

Yeah I agree, and okay (even though it was previously discussed).

Snake is probably one of the "easiest" character to fight, for me. Why? Well because, you could actually try your *** off against him and win, it's not like fighting a Metaknight where your options are pretty much dreaded to zero, and you end up losing.
