Sorry, I prefer Medusa. At least she has been in all the games.

Uhhh i dont think she was in of myths and monsters.

Not to mention in uprising she is so unimportant she only really does something noteworthy in 2 chapters.
in the first game the entirety of her character is evil snake lady who fights with an effigy who only shows up at the end unlike say bowser who appears multiple times in smb.

Viridi on the other hand has a lot of character development and last time i checked is more popular than medusa at least in japan.

AND viridi has a greater future, being nearly guaranteed to the hypothetical sequel unlike medusa who's chances are teetering on her being revived AGAIN

Viridi is awesome, but Medusa's recurrency and how she is tied with the heroes is something to take in account.

But I agree, prefering a character solely because he / she is a reccuring character isn't enough to me.

Having both goddesses would be a nice mix of old and new characters. And some rage too, as it would mean 5 KI characters

They are able to make Toon Link playable and a stage character, due to being able to have Alfonzo take over as the engineer in Spirit Train when Toon Link is too busy fighting.

With Viridi as a DLC fighter, we could have:
If playable Viridi is fighting in the Reset Bomb Forest, background Viridi either would say something different like "Hmm, one of those fighers down below looks awfully familiar." and "How could there possibly be two of me?". Either that or Background Viridi does not appear nor would she be heard.

Exactly. While Hades is my most wanted, Viridi would be an awesome addition because she is awesome. Plus I could see alot of cool nature themed attacks with her and I was thinking that the flower status effect could be a part of her gameplay by having special moves that can cause it and maybe smash attacks can cause it too.

Viridi is my favorite character but i have to agree that hades is amazing (probably my favorite antagonist ever) almost makes me wish he wasnt blown to less tthan a soul. Almost

"Wrath of the Reset Bomb" makes sense. It's the theme that plays in her first big chapter in the story, sorta like how Palutena's theme is "The Return of Palutena" and the Reapers' is the retro jingle that plays whenever they see you.

I don't think "having your own stage" counts if you are a part of the stage (see Ridley)
obviously it is not as severe as above and closer (but not equal to) conductor link but the biggest problem is still being a KI character, in a game full of 'em.

With the tease in Dark Pit's guidance, I hope that Viridi will continue to be a major character in the next KI, if we get one, anyway.

I really like the contrast between Palutena having Pit and Viridi having Pittoo. Maybe that can end up in Smash one day.

One last thing about the victory theme. Viridis normal theme isnt the of the chapter she is named by (lol) but rather of the reset bomb. during the chaos ring that tune plays again for her. So i would assume they would want to use viridis theme like they do for dark pit.

I realised recently that, presuming Kid Icarus carries on into the foreseeable future and Dark Pit becomes a recurring character in Smash, Viridi's got a pretty good chance of appearing as the antagonistic rival to Palutena. She could be to Dark Pit what Palutena is to Pit, which would make for some great canon battles~ :3

While I would love to see Viridi take center stage I do think having Viridi being an a weird realm of neutrality towards palutena makes sense.
hates humans but still is against evil and all that. plus pit is there too

shame Medusa could have been a perfect foil to palutena but wound up betting very little speech throughout the series (no talking in the original and being barely there in Uprising) other than spewing hatred.
