I went MK in game 2 and I lost because my brain was basically in two different places at once. Oh well no johns I guess. I went GW in the 4th match on his counterpick Frigate. For some reason I can't find the latter vid on my channel :/

You took first in singles and doubles? Good **** man! Who else was there?

First match against MSF2000...a lot of bad spacing and not shielding stuff when you run towards him...I personally think you were a little bit too nervous with Up-B early on in the match. Also, 1:06, I noticed a moment you could have B-aired out of shield to punish just saying.

Your second stock...you should have just done a ledge roll, stand, or jump there. Or just simply drop and N-air or U-air without the midair jump. It's safer if you think he's trying to do a B-air. You made a similar mistake in the 5th match on your first stock. You don't have to always try to aim for hitting him. If you think he's going to try taking a risk, don't jump while you do *insert aerial*.

At the end you got pretty predictable with B-airs and you often made the mistake of approaching with them when there was too much space between you and him. Walking forward with shield is safer.

So far I've seen you die twice because you were toying around on the ledge before jumping back to the stage. I don't like this.
And yes, now I understand why bucket braking is amazing. Wow.
Hard to give any solid advice, there were a lot of times during the vid that you did something I wouldn't have. But hey everyone is different.
Play G&W more. A lot!

Yeah I caught the "Hylian syndrome" where I had been playing lots and lots of characters. It had gotten to a point where I started to play MK/Snake/DDD/ROB/Marth/ICs/Wario at times because I had liked all of what those characters had to offer.

Don't worry; just like Hylian I have gone back to pretty much G&W lol.

I played for the first time since CoT4 yesterday night and it was AMAZING. For the first time in like 8 months I pretty much ONLY played GW in all my friendlies. Ususally I NEVER play him in friendlies, only in tournament. I'm back on my game 100% now and better then ever . It's like a door opened up for me lol. I learned a lot of stuff at CoT4, and playing last night I learned how to impliment it into my game . I'm really excited for Hobo14 this weeked . There will be a livestream, you guys should watch .
