But that Didi match was crazy! I also notice how well you where fighting his nana combo string with the jab, like you say in the MU treat and the grabs yo! The grabs...NHSmash 2, March 19th 2016

Played kinda bad this set, and apparently he made notes about me. Wasnt ready for that, but next time I will. Also little did I know ZSS is apparently his personal best MU. Just wanted to give it a try though.

Dont watch game 2
I think I played pretty badly at both these tournies. Not quite like myself and how I used to. Trying to fix it though.
Dang, that is some of the most intense projectile game I've ever seen on a Link, especially in the match against that Rob. His use of boomerang and arrow pressure is top-notch, and his bomb and gyro control is excellent. His double-jab into up-b first set against Rob is something I've never seen before, and against the Diddy, the way he short-hopped and baited out the airdodge to land the f-smash was so smart. I'm definitely taking notes on this guy.https://www.twitch.tv/smashbrositalia/v/62569093 for Italy's recently National Icarus II, where BlueLink (a Link/Toon Link main who primarily went Link this tourney) won. First time I've heard of the guy, but interesting to watch.
Link vs DK (for games 1 & 3, for Game 2 BlueLink goes Toon Link) https://www.twitch.tv/smashbrositalia/v/62569093?t=18m46s
Link vs. R.O.B. (Winners Finals) https://www.twitch.tv/smashbrositalia/v/62569093?t=1h22m22s
Link vs. Diddy (Grand Finals - game 1 he went Marth and won, switched to Link for games 2 & 3) - https://www.twitch.tv/smashbrositalia/v/62569093?t=2h36m14s
Double Jab to Up-B is something Hyrule Hero and others do quite frequently to be honest, and Izaw even covered the gist of it (it's a mixup) in one of his art of link videos. Jab 2 -> something is never guaranteed, as they can shield, attack or jump out in time. However, it can catch people off guard. Cat's done the short-hop FSmash thing too, but it's always fun to see it work . Nevertheless, it's cool if folks are learning technically known things from these videos.Dang, that is some of the most intense projectile game I've ever seen on a Link, especially in the match against that Rob. Oh. I thought the most commonly used thing was double jab grab or double jab dsmash. I guess up-b is used to screw with their DI? I've watched a lot of HH, Izaw, Scizor, and SOVA Unknown, so I probably have seen it before, but his projectile game is what impresses me most. I don't think I've seen anything like it. He just creates so much pressure and uses them so intelligently. I'm surprised I haven't heard of him until now. I've watched a few of his other sets and they're almost as crazy as these, but it's clear this guy's getting much better. I really hope to see more of him.Double Jab to Up-B is something Hyrule Hero and others do quite frequently to be honest, and Izaw even covered the gist of it (it's a mixup) in one of his art of link videos. Yeh I hadn't heard of him before too, and like @Fox Is Openly Deceptive said in his other thread, he uses bomb drops/pickups REALLY well, which the others don't really do. Interesting, hadn't seen his previous sets, but awesome to see he's getting better.Oh. I thought the most commonly used thing was double jab grab or double jab dsmash. Yeah. Hey, you were at Smash at Mac, weren't you? A friend and I went there because it was nearby. It was my second tournament ever and his first. Unsurprisingly, we both got bodied, and I had the pleasure of going up against Cookietic first set. I just couldn't seem to escape his footstools out of throws no matter how what direction I chose to DI. My friend then proceeded to get knocked out of the tournament by you. I never saw your Link, and we had to leave early, but we had a lot of fun. I'm hoping to get to more tournaments, but I'm having trouble with scheduling. I hope to see you once I improve!Smash Club 3-5
Got 3rd out of 50 at this tourney. Pretty stacked for a small tourney.

Yeah I was playing only secondaries at smash at mac. That's why you didn't see my link. LOLHey, you were at Smash at Mac, weren't you? A friend and I went there because it was nearby. Hey, another question, I am having trouble finding tournaments that I can attend. I'm with the Minnesota Smash Facebook group, but is there anything else I can do to find more tournaments?Yeah I was playing only secondaries at smash at mac. That's why you didn't see my link. LOL

lmao you really need to stop pummeling too much, waste of grabs when they break up while you could do a guaranteed follow-upHere's a vid. from a local tourney I was at a couple weeks ago.

Game 2 was against WA's best DDD, Girthquake. Before game one, I told him and our commentators that it was a tourney match. Guess he didn't hear me, because he thought it was friendlies.
Agreed, it's a Melee habit.lmao you really need to stop pummeling too much, waste of grabs when they break up while you could do a guaranteed follow-up

Was playing bad at this tournament (going off stage against shiek) but since this is my first replay I would appreciate the critique on my gameplay.
I really enjoyed our matches. Though, in the future, try to remember to ask me if you want to upload vids by name. Friendlies don't feel very friendly when the one match you lost gets put up on display.
I'm really sorry . I can still take it down if you'd like.I really enjoyed our matches. Though, in the future, try to remember to ask me if you want to upload vids by name. Friendlies don't feel very friendly when the one match you lost gets put up on display.
Don't even worry about it. Just for future reference. The only reason I ask that is because if I'm going to be on display, I want to play in a way that will reflect that so I don't look like an idiot.I'm really sorry . I can still take it down if you'd like.
