Travels funds

So I wont be talking about the trip here, but the trip gave me an idea. I will be taking the house cut from Tof (and most likely the weeklies) and put it into a travel fund, to pay for gas for ? players in UT to go travel to other states and such. My only rules on this are: We need at leased 2-3 adults going, its cool with family, show a bit of respect to the other players ( the person who houses us for sure), and all the basics.

This will only pay for gas (and might not cover all the gas) any food or anything else you need to pay for yourself.

See, this is a pinnacle moment for me, considering I'm over 18, I'm both mature AND immature enough to handle anybody, and I can somehow juggle my school work so well, that I can be available anytime for any of these trips.

Woo-hoo, road trip!!

And yay for DZLE being my partner.

Fate, taking a house cut for something like this is a horrible idea! First of all, you're already giving the PnT a cut. If this is in addition to that, then it'll be absolutely dreadful. If it's for the trip INSTEAD of for PnT, then it is still stupid (as if you don't have to give it to PnT, then keep it in the pot). We've actually thought about using a part of the pot to pay for an OoS trip before (more precisely, for OC3), but we decided against it, as paying for a trip using a part of the pot would not benefit everyone equally, as most of the people there won't even be going OoS, so it's unfair to them.

It wouldn't be another house cut, but you do have a point. The reason I give PnT a house cut is to keep the happy holding these but they don't seem to care about it much. And your right, it wouldn't be fair to anyone who doesn't end up going. So for now i will keep it as a house cut for PnT. and the people winning tounries can pay for the trip them selfs with the winnings.

I was actually thinking something along these lines, but I am not on the panel, so I didnt say anything.

So I just made an AiB account yesterday, and will be uploading the tourny results on there so that those of you who have an AiB account can get your badges and such. If you have a different AiB account name than what I am putting in when I put you in the brackets please let me know. So that you can get a record of it.

I would say 20-30. Is that about right?

p.s. who do you main?
I really dont know yet. I have just gotten back into Brawl after a long time away. So I have been playing around with who I play. I dont have a fav yet. Any suggestions of who to try to main?

I could just point you towards the tier list... JK

The only real way to find who you should main is to try a ton of characters out and to see who feels most comfortable to you and fits into your play style the best. That, or force yourself to get good with a certain character, but I like the first way better.

Or you can go for a character that nobody in the community plays... but then again thats going to be sorta hard with Rade/harpuia. Though I havn't seen many lucario players.

Honestly, never ask who you should main. Just play a bunch of characters and you'll begin to figure out who you're best with. Don't have people choosing for you.

That's the great thing about fighting games, you begin to find a character that fits your style and persona.

I never find a true "Main", which is probably why I never really get any better in brawl. I actually stick with the characters I play in Melee.

Also, I need a partner for doubles, unless my friend who said he might come actually decides to...
