If your main was 4-stocked... and Perfect Chaos' main was thrashed... somehow I highly doubt your new alternate will cause much damage. Link is top tier.

lmfao @ owning LoVo with any character. Unless you're a professional level Sheik (Read: Drephen or Forward, etc), that's not going to get you anywhere. Falco? You have to be smart as hell and technical to boot (again, Forward), and even then, might lose. Fox? Haha.... Colorado eats Fox alive. Who else can fight Link? Marth gets teh ***** by him, and Peach... well, it has to be in your genes to keep you from even being 4 stocked by him. Same goes for ICs.

And all that is ignoring the fact that the rest of Colorado knows how to use their characters, and a few of us can actually counter-pick (i.e. Ferdi and myself). Even if you were able to beat LoVo alone, you'd still get rapsied by whoever was next. That's how Colorado rolls, son. XD

And Link IS top tier. Guy's an *******.

Seriously, Gojira. We drove 10 ****ing hours, after looking for transportation for 10, and that was after an STD. Don't even use sleepiness as a john again. LoVo probably got a total of 3 hours of sleep, and had woken up just before playing, same as you. You guys were owned, and we didn't even need to send out me, Ferdi, Kenny, or Erg.

Regardless, I seriously require some practice, and so if I can get prolly 2 other people from the PG/provo/orem/af area, we can carpool up in my car. RA, if I remember right you're debating whether to go or not. Anyway, those prices will be split betwixt however many people go, so.. i guess what you really want is the estimated totals so you can do the dividing yourself when we figure out how many people are going.

Hey PC, Are you going to the anime banzai con again to win the smash tournament for the third year in a row? If you are, the tournament is on Sept. 1 Registration: Saturday 2:00 PM
Tournament: Saturday 3:00 PM. I think that the setup will probably be the same as last year. The rules are insanely unfair, but it always fun to watch you beat everyone.

Also the price to get into the anime con is $20 for the whole day. I don't think that they give discounts for single events.

I think that the main problem with everything was that it was in the morning.

Sorry guys, I hate being scarce on the internet...

Like Nate stated a little while back, it looks like we don't need to worry about being in Vegas until 9am on Saturday. I think we should meet up and leave sometime on Friday, hopefully early so we can do a tourny in St. George, sleep in St. George, wake up EXTREMELY early on Saturday and get to EVO, stay the night at a hotel, then drive back Sunday when we're sick of EVO. I doubt any of us will make the finals, but even if we do, they're suppose to be over around 5:30, so I think we can make it home late Sunday night. How do you guys feel about that? I'm open to suggestions.

As for price... I think gas will be about $80 for the round trip, I'll only ask for $20 from each of you at the most. Hotel... Green Valley Ranch is basically out of rooms, they only have some of the view-suites, the cheapest being $289. WAAAY too much. I think I'll try and get a two-bed at a Motel 6 somewhere near by... they look to be about $80 for Saturday night. So... like $40-$50 bucks, plus food, I'm thinking.

It's an additional $40 to register for EVO itself, forgot to mention that...

I'll go ahead and move asking St. George for housing into the Souther Utah thread... will be easier that way...

So again, in rough estimate summary:

Nate, from this far ahead, I think basically any weekend in September will be fine for me. I'll just ask it off work as soon as you get a date worked out. Except for the 1st... I'm out of town that weekend, but that's really early for September.

Chad, I should try to hang out with you more often so's we can both get better...
