I wish I flew for free like Dookdigity and I'd be all over tournaments everywhere, regardless of quality but honestly I don't see myself going to that one. Are YOU planning on going to AZ with Kenny on the 19th next month? If so, $50 MM

i was in utah for a year. i went to "the pie" and asked for a strumboli. they had no idea what language i was speaking. i could never get used to the 801 area code, the streets grided around the temple called xxxx south ect., the fact that you have to drive to the convieneint store, and everyone was mormon.
nice mountains though.

On another note did you know you don't need to hack your wii to play to play BBrawl. So I'm going to look further into that and see if you don't need to hack your wii to have textures, infinite replay with tags on them, unrestricted camera, and default settings. Could make getting replays so much easier at tournaments now.

Well, you don't need to check. The way this works is that you run Gecko, the program needed to run the codes, through a special files that's saved as a custom stage file (before, Gecko was only loadable through the Homebrew Channel), which then, afterwards, makes everything that was possibly with the other method still possible. The only difference is that you also need a code that disables custom stages to activate with Gecko, or else the game will try to load the Gecko program through that custom stage file again when you reach the stage selection screen, causing the game to freeze. That code is pretty old, so there's a chnace that it might conflict with some newer codes. If it doesn't, then everything is fine, but if it does, then there are two choices... The first is that you wait until someone decides to make an updated version of the Disable Custom Stages code. The second is very tedious, but it allows you to get around it. First you would have to load up the custom stage file, then after Gecko loads, you have to take out the SD Card, put it in the computer, change the name of that custom stage file to something that's not readable by the Wii, then put the SD Card back into the Wii. (And then you would have to change the name of the custom stage file back to the original name to load up the game next time, and then repeat the process.) But that's only if there are conflicts.

First of all, we aren't scrubs. :D Second of all, Snake and every other character in the game has bad match ups. Third of all, Its ok guys.... I'm Sinz.

I know you're trying to defend Meta Knight and everything G-kirb, but Sinz has a point. If a character, in the current meta game, can have NO bad match ups against every other character, while the rest of the cast has at least a few bad match ups, then it's hard to argue the validity of Meta Knights position. Even though I'm against a ban, maybe that's cause I play Snake. If I was better with my secondaries, like Diddy or Bowser, then maybe, yes, I'd be for the ban, so we could have a healthy line-up of characters on our PR, seeing as how, even with three Snakes, people still consider Yaz as the best.

Just saying.

I still laugh, though, at all the people who consider EVERY Utahn a mormon. More than half the friends I got are not Mormon, and I get along with every Mormon in the Utah smash scene, considering I, myself, am also not Mormon, or any religion at this point in time.

This is of short notice and has a house cut but I am just going to throw it out there and see what I get for responses.

Where: Protocol 42 (the venue I discussed.) 4119 S. 420 W. Murry
When: This Saturday (The 29th)
Why: For fun of course and to help a venue that could host HUGE tourneys if it gets on its feet.(Ultimate Showdown two possibly =O) Hell I may even play some Boozer matches with peeps.
How Much: the entry will be 8 dollars. 5 goes to POT 3 to protocol 42.

Treats: Protocol offers 1 dollar Snacks, energy drinks and 5 dollar all you can drift Soft Drinks.

Etc./Equipment
I know its short notice and costly entry but if enough people are interest I will make it happen. For equipment I can take my small TV and my wii. That means we will need at least 2 more to make it go fast. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, Marsulas. have you played Yaz yet?

This is me giving you fair warning before you throw too much cash away. Dekar WILL win any MMs against Utah players, and that's the honest-to-crazy wrathful Mormon God truth.

I would say your second statement easily contradicts your first one.

I have not kept tabs on our scene lately but I wouldn't be so ****ing quick to put us(me you can) below your friends *** you seem to be kissing or honoring. I would love to see David **** the **** out of your friend and I would put heavy ****ing cash on it.

Secondly if you are from Nm then you are in here representing NM. Your representation so far has been ****ing ***, so I am sure many would pass driving down to crappy NM for a tourney.

Edit: Also, as of who's going to AZ, I'm not sure yet. The mexi brigade consists of the three brothers, X, Staz, and Lada, and then their step brother David when he was here. They also consider Dryu as part of the mexi brigade as well.

I'm just telling people to think before they let blind pride push them into throwing blank checks at someone who is, and I'm telling you this with 98% certainty, better than them.

Ken Neth, online forums are a generally worthless form of communication. The fact is, none of us have been ***** in this thread. Nobody has context for anything until they've met face to face. If we were engaging in the fine smashers' tradition of post-tourney dinner and Gojira said NM was a bunch of 13 year olds, I'd probably laugh and buy him an order of fries. That or he just wouldn't say it, because he'd be surrounded by a bunch of mature, personable guys who obviously aren't cocky 13 year olds. Anger tends to disappear when you find out there's an actual person behind the screen you've been fuming at.
