Hmm... well now that I'm back from my weekend venture to vegas... I really want to smash, haha! I know bluepeach already mentioned this, but if there's room for one more i'd like to hit up a couple rounds of smash! I'm going to be a bit rusty tho, havn't played seriously for 2ish or more weeks now (I think).

As for lanky, you're always weird bro.

Btw, too bad (as far as I know) the U doesn't have any smashesque clubs. Sigh...

I have a quirky sense of humor...I play Smash for hours a day for months at a time...with other geeks...I'm not one to call anyone weird. Though I have lulls where I don't play in between tourneys. And I curse and make bad jokes once people get to know me and get over the whole "female" thing.

Ya know, I was just thinking, we really ought to have a straight up BYU smash club. Right now it's run through quark and called the Ysmash league...but seriously, we should have our own club. When we meet up tomorrow we can discuss.

Oh, and speaking of rusty, I haven't played much for the last couple months as I'm still moping about being robbed at my last tournament....10 weeks of matches going in seeded to win and I CHOKED. Needless to say I ignored the wii for a while...

I think it would be ultra cool if we could get a smash league at byu this semster. Something like one night week we meet and do round robin type things and keep track of wins and losses, then at the end we have a tournament. Have something like you go and you play 4 diffrent people in sets of 3 and record the matches. idk will talk more tomorrow about it.


I know there is interest for this we would just have to get the word out, there was a tournament last semester that was just helman halls and it got about 30 people to it.

Hey what do you know. I don't feel so alone any more. I'm married but Xan, my wife, doesn't play smash that much. She will however come down for a Pokemon Puzzle League tourney if we ever do one and she can make it.

He's been changing it every day for awhile now. It has to do with the anime show that his avatar comes from. I was the first person to notice it and ask him about it

I started at the stroke of midnight and the start of February, FYI. Kenny was the first to say something to me, but Minato noticed it when I changed it the color the first time (after midnight on Monday), shortly after midnight; Kenny noticed it on the second change time (after midnight on Tuesday).

Remember the following post of mine?

In that case, I'll reserve a different color base on the current day of the week, then. Yellow for Monday, red for Tuesday, blue for Wednesday, green for Thursday, gold for Friday, (light) brown for Saturday, and white for Sunday.

Well, that post made the same reference as what I'm doing with the avatar. As for why I'm doing it...well, I always stay awake pass midnight, and I'm often bored at that time, so I found something to do during that time to care my boredom (and it's a good way of reminding me that I should be getting some sleep soon )

The guys at BYU should do this. I'll explain in a bit an idea Waff gave me concerning this.

Yeah, but didn't the tourney have items? Then don't feel bad about losing. Items aren't fun...except in the case of a Poke-battle, like we had at the last smashfest. Boy that was a blast!

So...we should make one! I think if we get a BYU and a U of U smash club started around the same time, then we can have this so called "rivalry" happen between us.

Quick note, I was half right about Thursday. I actually work two shifts, so I won't be able to make the mini-tourney this week unless I get out early like last time. Hopefully I'll catch the newbies, but if not, maybe next time...
