-Mewtwo's importance is being way over-exaggerated. At this point Charizard brings exactly the same Pokémon representation to the roster as he does, but he does it much better as he also has two Mega Evolutions, he's an even bigger fan favorite, he's much more marketable, and he's even better for people seeking nostalgia. Furthermore I think Jigglypuff is more important for the Pokémon roster than Mewtwo at the moment. The Pokémon roster shouldn't be filled only with big badass Pokémon feat Pikachu, Jigglypuff helps bring things together as it's a small and cute Pokémon, and those need representation too as there are way more of those than badass 'mons. I also think both Squirtle and Ivysaur bring much more unique gameplay aspects with them, and while I expect them to be cut I think they're way more unique than Mewtwo was because of their distinct playstyle. Thus I think Mewtwo would actually be a rather boring addition at this point and should be a DLC character at best.
-Roy should never come back, the design of his moveset was mind-numbingly bad (character with a lot of range that's not supposed to use said range) and as far as I've heard he's also one of the least popular lords from FE overall. Just because he has fire effects doesn't mean he warrants a return at all, and I can't imagine why else anyone would want him back as that's absolutely the only thing he brings that Marth doesn't have.
-Already ranted about it enough in other places so I'll keep it short, but if the Gematsu leak is all we're getting this will be the weakest newcomer pool we've gotten thus far, especially in the variation category. This is especially dissapointing considering how incredibly good the Brawl newcomer pool was.
-Some of the 3DS models look really bad, Donkey Kong being by far the worst.
-I still don't understand why I should ever get an Amiibo figure other than for the fact that it looks nice, it seems like a stupid and desperate money grab. If I want to test my skills I'm just going to go online and play, CPU fights are boring as hell in Smash.
-Miis not being playable online with anyone is one of the best things that has happened to this game.
-I don't want Ganondorf to get a sword, I'd much rather he becomes a brute Warlock of a sort.
-The game will be very unbalanced no matter what, the method they're using to balance the game is atrocious. You can't balance a game via FFA and 1v1, they should just totally drop the FFA aspect of balancing and only focus on 1v1 balancing. There are too many things that factor into FFAs to make it worth balancing, usually people just pick on the person that's on high percentages or in the lead, so what's the point? Because of this I fully expect another Ganondorf in terms of balancing and possibly even another Meta Knight.
-They're making a huge mistake releasing the 3DS version first. Most people that are interested in this game already have a 3DS but not a Wii U, so the casual players will of course just settle for the 3DS version and never get the Wii U version since it'll be out first and has the added bonus of being portable. It's going to hurt sales on the Wii U and the Wii U version of the game, and people would have gotten the 3DS version regardless because of portability and the fact that the 3DS is the leading console on the market, there's absolutely no up-side to releasing the 3DS version first as far as I can see it.
-Palutena's trailer was cringey and confusing for people that aren't KI:U fans, it was just a bunch of dialog over footage of Palutena doing nothing until we go into the Dragonball Z segment of her shouting her own moves. Worst trailer by far. Likewise she also looks like an incredibly boring character to play and doesn't really bring much new to the table, more varied customization matters nothing once you're in the game.
-Little Mac looks really bad once people began playing as him. He has so few approach options, and the ones he have are really bad, predictable and have tons of lag too. He's going to be outcamped and likely be near the bottom of the tier list.
-Sakurai is a douchebag if Ridley isn't playable. Not because of the fact that he isn't playable, but because of how much he has teased him. If he's a boss he should have revealed him as such from day 1 of Pyrosphere's reveal, he has kept that **** going for almost a year now, there's no good excuse for doing that if he isn't playable.
-Stage bosses is a really bad idea. Just look at how people played around the Yellow Devil at the demos, no one gives a **** about the benefit, it's not worth the effort and thus it just becomes an overglorified stage hazard. Bad implementation that ruins otherwise great stages.
-Snake's appeal lies in the fact that he doesn't fit in, it's a bit of a shame he gets ragged on so much for not fitting in because of this.
-Give the game less landing lag, easier throw follow-ups and easier dash-dancing and its gameplay is going to be better than Melee's.
Those are the ones I can fish up from my head atm.
