how does one access the UMCP library?

It's really easy. You just find a place to park where you WON'T get ticketed (you may have to talk to Wenzel or somebody for help on that), then just walk over to the super obvious library smack dab in the middle of campus and waltz right on in.

I don't think the labor day weekend is going to result in any of us leaving campus. We can probably throw a smashfest in honor of the legendary uploader SleepyK. Haha.

It's kind of sad, but the CP crew seems to have dwindled significantly, with only Winston, Wenbo, Wenzel and myself as undeniably active. Where did Chris, Kuo, Matt, Luke, Johnny, and all those random players we had the past few years go, like Sam and Dan?

Hopefully Thumbs, Rico, and Ted will drop by once in a while.

Where are smashfests going to be, now that Courtyards is not so smashful anymore? I mean, I don't want to overinvade them if they don't want to play anymore. My place is only big enough for like, 2-3 setups and it gets pretty feisty on many Fridays. Jow's and Wenbo's houses are... kind of far. I think it's time to start recruiting.

I wouldn't mind recruiting though. This year's wave of freshmen is bound to be replete with folk having a smashward interest.

and how do we recruit?? It seems very unlikely. Do you want to set up in stamp or something and hope someone actually gets interested enough to play? I just don't see it happening.

Neither do I. I was being sarcastic, but hoping somebody would think otherwise and run with the "idea". In any case, I could try texting all of the random, 4 stockables who showed up to one of our many smashfests last year and see if they haven't lost motivation entirely.

One of the reasons I sandbag is so I don't 4-stock people and discourage them. I will, however, 0-death them if I feel like it.

But the MD/VA scene is pretty small. Hard to convince myself TOing a tournament is a worthwhile pursuit.

Plus, we probably will have trouble finding a venue, as we did last year.
