If people are smashing in CP tomorrow afternoon/evening, I would come. Yes, for Melee (I'm seriously trying to get back into it). I don't think I have anyone's number though.

Are people actually going to Xanadu then? There's supposedly going to be room for like 10 setups total, and Brawl is 80% of the people entering. Kinda don't want to drive 1:30, pay a $10 venue, then have to share two Melee setups with like 8 peeps. :/

Irene kind of chopped off like a third of the comers, but considering Xanadu is like 15 minutes from my house, I don't mind driving there. (However I am currently at CP and Wenzel is driving, but that's beyond the point.)

Not sure where you got that. Sonic sucks balls in Brawl and has until recently been mediocre in Project M. We're trying to make him viable.

Technically they didn't quit, it's just that last year there was always someone up for smash at all times...but now, not so much.

• Luke (and Greg) still likes smash, but both of them more or less gave up on the 'community' aspect of smash (improving, tourneys, etc) since (frankly) SF4's community has a lot more activity.
• Matt also started getting into SF4 and still has interest in smash since he put so much time into smash, but he's going to the military.
• Dan's not interested in smash anymore since nobody has been playing.

I'm being a little pessimistic but I don't really see Courtyards having a lot of smash activity for next year. Maybe it'll be revived since Johnny still plays smash...idk...
