So despite the fact that I don't necessarily trust Hollywood to make a good Nintendo Cinematic Universe, I thought about some potential options of how it could be structured. Here's what I have

Super Mario!: Movie is basically a Mario adventure, but it's an amalgamation of all sorts of Mario games. So it makes references to Mario Kart, Party, etc..

Characters introduced: :ultmario::ultluigi::ultbowser::ultbowserjr::ultpeach::ultdaisy::ultyoshi::ultdk::ultwario: (introduces 4 of the Original 12)
-
Metroid Prime: Movie explores a mission in which Samus comes across a mysterious new planet, while engaging with enemies old and new!

Characters introduced: :ultsamus::ultzss::ultdarksamus::ultridley: (1 of original 8)
-
Kirby!: Basically your favorite Kirby characters in an adventure from...one of the games, I guess? Maybe like Return to Dreamland?

Characters introduced: :ultkirby::ultmetaknight::ultkingdedede: (1 of original 8)
-
Star Fox (probably plot of 64)- Pretty straightforward.

Characters introduced: :ultfox::ultfalco::ultwolf: (1 of Original 8)
-
The Legend of Zeldaverse! Based on events after Breath of the Wild, Link gets sucked into an entirely new conflict where he comes across versions of himself and other big Zelda characters to save Hyrule across Time and Space! (also will be able to explain the crossover of all the different series)

Characters introduced: :ultlink::ultzelda::ultsheik::ultganondorf::ultyounglink::ulttoonlink: ( 1 of original 8)
-
Pokemon: Yellow!- an adaptation of the original game!

Characters introduced: :ultpokemontrainer::ultpokemontrainerf::ultpikachu::ultsquirtle::ultivysaur::ultcharizard::ultmewtwo::ultjigglypuff:
-
Finally:

Super Smash Bros.- This brings everyone together, or at least the original 8, to fight back against a mysterious entity invading their worlds...here is where Master Hand, and Crazy Hand, would be introduced.

I'd do more, but this is probably huge already.

Well I guess I'll buy Super Mario Maker and Fire Emblem with the vouchers, shame on Nintendo for making it time limited so I can't get Pokemon Sword and Shield. Even with their offers and discounts they're stingy.

You know what actually would have really sold me? A more complete Minus World available to play on. Or something like that, because glitches like that pique my interest so much.

>Buy the vouchers now
>Wait until Sword and Shield come out and are inevitably added to the deal for people who bought the vouchers but held off, or even when SwSh is added to the deal after the details at E3
>Use the voucher, which will not have expired at this point, to buy Sword/Shield

It's not hard, people.

Alright well here's the thing. Slapping down $100 is hard. And if you're going to make limitations over what you can obtain, then that adds furthur difficulty.

I'll think about it. Because regardless, that's a pretty good deal for those who haven't gotten those big name titles.

Don't the vouchers last for a whole year, though? Sword and shield are releasing this year, so you should be able to buy them with the vouchers.

People got to it before I did. Ah well.

Could they have offered them for AC and FE? Possibly, but Nintendo don't like upcoming games being on sale before release. It's their robust business model, but it's not a surprise.

DQB has Square involved and they'd nope at that the moment it was asked. I noticed that no third party games were offered either.
well the first DQB is on that list so maybe DQB2 will be too

It was a typo! Great. Now instead of getting excited at the idea of a Sonic Maker people are just laughing at my mistake.
Technically, there was a Sonic Maker online, on a place that used to exist that was owned by Sega called Play Sega. Here it is, by the way.

I know it is not a console game, but it still counts.

I've actually played Hotel Mario, and I have to admit...

Compared to the other games on the CDI, it's actually an okay game. I mean, it's still not very good, but I like it much better than the Zelda CDI games anyway.
Fam I respect that opinion and all but some games set the bar high and some bury it so far I gotta get the metal detector out of the closet to find it.

And underneath that is the CD-i library.

I guess it's possible they might be added in the future, but I'm a bit perplexed why they haven't put it in the future games list in the eshop section about the vouchers. Part of me fears that because the deal is time limited it means games that comes way later like Pokemon won't be included.

Once you get to make fun of it, then it doesn't matter anymore.

Understandable. I'm really at a loss as to why they thought making these vouchers a timed deal was anything close to a good idea. :132:
