Anyways moving from ginger ale talk (honestly haven't tried Canada Dry, wasn't making any comments regarding its quality) I was wondering 2 things regarding speculation about info that we had in the past and would like some opinions on it.

The first is regarding the dummied data that included the titles of Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corps and Devil's Third in the spirit titles

Looking at the spirits from Persona 5 that were included with Joker, they only belong to P5 (Igor who is a recurring character appears with his P5 sprite) while ones from P3, P4 and other SMT related demons are ignored. P3 and P4 have representation in the form of Mii costumes

I would think that this could potentially mean two things as to my understanding:
-There is a set number of spirits being released and the spirits are being selected to accommodate that number.
-The content is just going to be limited to the games the character comes from and we could get more or less spirits if that's the case

I know that Rare has a number of potential franchises that have popular candidates for DLC, but I feel that unless they want to add Rare history in general it's more likely to get spirits exclusive to the franchise appearing. Especially in the case of Banjo and KI (possibly Conker and Battletoads as well) where they wouldn't have any trouble filling the spirit board.

I don't think this would discourage any presence of a character belonging to Rare in the pass but due to some of these suspicions, the names being contained in their Japanese names and the presence of Devil's Third on the data I feel that the current content is dummied content that was never supposed to be on the game.

The second one would be the Vergeben list for the 7 potential newcomers, this one depends on how you see Vergeben's info:

This one is more regarding the absence more than the presence of a character in the list, I'm talking about Lara Croft. Lara Croft is arguably a really popular character, and her absence in the list is kinda strange.

If I recall correctly, from the 7 characters in his list (technically 8 with Million Arthur or something being mentioned as a joke), Slime was mentioned by only one source. Now one of the weird aspects apart from more names not appearing is the fact that Mr. Croft was not being mentioned even once, which I find hard to believe.

This could mean that effectively, Lara Croft was never considered but also it makes very little sense to not try to use her at least as a red herring given her popularity. Which I don't really know what to make about.
