Sure, you could shower. You could give yourself a good scrub down, shampoo and condition your hair, or even just take a bath with a bath bomb. But why do that, when you could harness your own BO energy and defeat your enemies, not by skill, but by destroying their remaining attachment to their miserable existence just because they will be able to sense their impending doom heading their way?

If they showered they would have one less reason to complain about people not liking them, so they avoid showering in order to keep feeling bad about themselves.

The fact that I now know Akhos is a blade or that I can't even raise 500,000 to buy that one core crystal in Gormott.

To be fair, it isn't much a spoiler since it was told right off the bat officially, at least as a DLC add-on. Also, patience my friend! Grinding for that 500,000 at salvage points eventually nets you enough to buy better cylinders, and by extension getting more treasures to exchange for development points, which nets you even more benefits in the long run. Build your Titan economies and 500,000 will be smallfry.
