So you got your primary colors, your secondary colors, but you can't forget the most special group: the primary subtractive colors. Here's some examples.
Primary
Red, Blue, Yellow
Secondary
Violet, Orange, Green
Subtractive
Magenta, Cyan, Yellow again for some reason
Now a lot of people like to say that brown is the mixture of all colors, and that's dumb and wrong. When all colors come together (or at least the primary), they're supposed to make the color white. And the color black is just the absence of any color at all.
