I mean, if we're gonna be real, Smash Ultimate at this point sold over 20 million copies, the most sold of the franchise. Smash For kinda was cornered with the skewed dual release and one of them being on a failed console, hence why there was only really three "DLC packs", if you disregard Corrin, Roy, Lucas and Mewtwo since they're just sold as is.That's great to hear! It means they're open to more characters than the initial 5 DLC.
Come by their predicted deadline of February 2020, this game will have sold between 30 - 35 million, give or take, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a second season to keep things going for the mass audience.
