He's more of a "Slash-you-over-and-over-right-in-front-of-you-and-maybe-shoot-you-in-the-face-after" kinda guy. That or just set you on fire or freeze you or something.

So, someone on Twitter brought up an interesting point.

Every single time Sakurai and his team have pushed forward an update that would break replays, they give us a little warning a couple days or so in advance via the pop-up news in Ultimate.

So, what that means for Joker, is one of two things.

1. If he's gonna be shadow-dropped during whatever Direct happens this month, they have to spoil that the hypothetical Direct is happening by giving a heads-up alert that 3.0 is coming a few days before it happens.

2. They can't shadow-drop him, because that won't give people enough time to save their replays.
