The game stars Kevin Keene. An obsessed Nintendo fan. Owning every system from the NES to the Swtich, all hooked up to the same TV. One day, lightning strikes his house and he is sucked into his television into an interconnected Hub of sorts. Here he meats Lana, the guardian of the video world. An evil force has invaded this land and it's up to her and Kevin to journey through each world to purge this invader and restore order.
The gameplay is simple. Your main weapons are a Wii-Mote and NES Zapper which function as a standard sword and gun. But you also acquire a wide variety of additional weapons and summons as you progress. You're score goes up the higher your combo, and multipliers are added by being flashy and stylish with your attack choices. You're XP is then absorbed at the end of a fight, contributing to your power level. But, the more weapons and summons (amiibo) you have, the less of a multiplier a single attack will get you. So if you want to continue to level up and increase your strength (IE progress) you need to continuously mix up what attacks you are using. Because of this you have a quick weapon change. Simply press minus and the game will slow down for a split second and you select a new weapon with the stick, this will not interrupt your combo. As you kill enemies your Switch meter fills. Think of this like a Devil Trigger. You SWITCH into your Switch Armor with increased power and speed, as well as regenerating health. In this mode you wield twin Joy-Con Sabres.
You also have a temporary partner in each world alongside Lana. You can control the actions of each using the left and right triggers. These partners consist of everyone from Mario to Simon Belmont, and you will always have one with you
In each level you have to collect game discs/cartridges. Once you collect a certain amount of discs for a certain game, you can load them into the main computer in the hub and open up a new land. When you start you have access to the Mario and Zelda worlds. As well as the two training stages, Wii Fit (where you train with your physical attacks) and Duck Hunt (where you practice your gun play)
What follows is a brief list of the worlds, as well as their contained levels and bosses. Sometimes you travel through an abridged version of that world's story (Kingdom Hearts style) and sometimes you travel through a showcase of that world's greatest hits (ala LEGO Dimensions)

Note: I'm thinking of adding levels based off of the Smash Ultimate DLC. Depends on how things go.
So, interesting thing I just learned: Apparently Mario and Luigi Dream Team wasn't a 60FPS game, it was 30FPS, similar to BiSDX. And yet, the game still retains the more twitch-based nature of the older ones.
...Huh. I thought it was because of the lower framerate, but nah, they just made the game slower paced. Doesn't bug me too much as I'm still loving the remake, but I definitely hope any potential M&L games on Switch go back to the pace of DT with smoother performance. I'd especially like to see the boss and enemy designs from DT come back; that game had fantastic bosses and enemies.
My favourite thing about DT has gotta be it's seriously underrated soundtrack; definitely a contender for top 3 OSTs from a Nintendo game produced in recent years
Better yet, just describe the images you want to post.
Painting of man with white hair and curls on either side looking at a manuscript with a confused expression before another painting of that same man now having put the manuscript down and facing the audience with a mixture of disgust and confusion.
-This week has been a mess for me mostly because my anxiety got worse, and while I will try to be as calm as I have been before taking the break I will probably confuse some things in general unless my mind works normal again.
-Because of the stuff said before, I fear I won’t watch Endgame if things keep going this way. I don’t think the movie will be bad or boring, but my body and brain aren’t ready for sitting three hours without going to the bathroom and surrounded by people. I’ll try to see if I watch it on Blu-Ray doh.
That’s basically it. Hoping that these “holidays” go better than these past days.
Hey man. I don't know if this'll help, but I'll share something with you.
My little brother, who now lives with me, had terrible anxiety problems. When he was 20 it came to a peak, where he couldn't hold a job, dropped out of school and moved back in with our parents because he was absolutely crippled by it. Panic attacks came out of seemingly nowhere and forced him to leave whatever he was doing, including driving, so he even stopped driving his car for nearly a year. It was bad, and only worsened by our father's "you're fine, it's all in your head" attitude towards all mental health issues.
He didn't see any movies in the theater for about two years. We had a tradition where, for every nerd movie since Captain America, we went together on opening night, just the two of us. We did this for years, but when his anxiety hit its peak, he couldn't go anymore. He tried to go see Justice League with me when I bought him his ticket and told him to just try, and as soon as the first preview came on he left and had a panic attack in the bathroom. I ended up just taking him home instead of watching the movie.
The reason I'm sharing all this is he's been on an upswing, and even went to watch the Broly movie with me and had a great time. He's driving. He's working. He's been getting better and better this whole time, and now his panic attacks aren't really a thing anymore. We got him help, I brought him into my home to give him a safe space, and he took it on himself to get better. Now we're seeing all those results. You can do that too. It's hard to look past the immediate things in front of you, but realize that life is long, and things change. You change. You can beat your anxiety with help, people who care and determination. I believed in my brother. I believe in you.
EDIT: Okay I give up none of these images are working.

Thankfully, I have the help. If I managed to enjoy a lot of things this year more than in 2018, I believe that I will be able to get through it at some point.

You cannot endeavor to start a trend. Such a trend would be ungenuine. They must form naturally, through a bunch of other idiots doing the same idiotic thing you're doing.

Oh, for sure. DT's OST is easily my favorite Mario RPG soundtrack, surpassing even the Paper Marios for me.
Somnom Woods is easily one of my most favorite RPG songs and Mario locations ever. The boss there was great, the puzzles were fantastic, the enemies were challenging and well balanced, it was definitely a highlight of that game for me. The Dreamy variant is even better.
DT really is an underrated gem. I actually do think I like it just a bit more than BiS, if I'm being perfectly honest. Only negative I can think of for the game was the Giant Luigi battles. Other than that, though, DT is fantastic: The 2D sections from BiS came back and were way more entertaining and streamlined with the Luiginary abilities, the combat was incredibly polished, it has IMO the peak of the series' boss lineup, and the game had an extremely interesting world like PiT did, but without PiT's baggage.
...I might just play through it again sometime later this year.

This feels exactly like this one episode of Ed Edd n Eddy where the Eds tried to follow the other kids, only for them to be one step behind at all times.
