Some character that caters to the Western audience, say Crash (I'm just using him as an example).

Even if Erdrick is in the Pass, E3 is the one place where I don't expect him to be revealed.

I feel like any time a Direct is even suggested, fans just flip out and assume it’s going to happen.

It’s not just here. Like, the internet just pops an Ultra boner and can’t envision any other outcome, and then when the other outcome DOES happen, it becomes “REPENT. THE DROUGHT IS NIGH”.

It’ll be alright. We have basically 2 weeks until the Persona event. If it doesn’t say he’s released around the presentation, I certainly would assume the Nintendo Direct (Smash Direct?) would take place afterward, or the day after, leading to the release of Joker.

In the meantime, do what I do and play a game from every series in Smash. If you haven’t played a series, give it a shot! You’ll likely find a good time to be had.

Fair question.

I would simply say, as a longtime Smash player and Nintendo junky, I would without a doubt in my mind say that at the very least Ryu was seen as a more realistic choice for Smash. Cloud effectively rivals Snake in terms of the “holy ****” hype.

In terms of being an icon, Ryu has the worldwide appeal, no question. Cloud is just more “holy ****”.

They revealed Palutena at an E3 though... and the Mii Fighters.

Doomguy then. They show off more of Doom Eternal then suddenly they cut to Doomguy beating the **** out of Bowser, K. Rool and Ridley.

Also... they should have called it Eternal Doom, not Doom Eternal. The former just sounds cool.

It'd have to be an iconic MAIN character, likely not a secondary character like Tails or Protoman.

So I'd guess Crash Bandicoot or Dante I don't know.

What’s been going on is that 4chan has been doing the usual “Steve posting” that is to say... taking pics of Banjo support areas and post them in a negative “mocking” manner.

Almost makes me want to stop supporting Steve...

4chan always just does things like this to get laughs and further this ridiculous steve banjo ''''war''''. There's no actual serious hate behind it all, and if there is just don't place too much thought into what random anonymous users think.
