Sakurai’s against guns though so what would she even do for her A moves?

He's really loosening up with that gun rule if Bayonetta and perhaps Joker are anything to go off. Even then, she can still borrow moves from other Overwatch characters if he's really struggling, which would be a neat way to celebrate Overwatch in Smash, like with Ness.

Pirahna Plant was a stupid character choice for Smash and I don’t give a **** what anyone says otherwise.

It’s literally the only character that shouldn’t be playable. If it were fun that’d be one thing but it can’t even get that right lol

It's not that Sakurai dislikes guns. It's that putting realistic weaponry in the game is an almost guaranteed way to get a Teen or Mature rating in some regions. So he avoids it.

Tracer's space-y white plastic guns fire space-y cartoon bullets. It's no different than Bayonetta's guns.

Personally, I don't get all the Tracer hate. Is it just popular to hate Overwatch now?

She has personality, she has a colorful, easily identifiable design, she has vanishing moves for mixups, she has futuristic laser pew pew guns that make it okay to use them as moves, and she has zero swords.

She checks off like every box needed for a third party guest star and yet everybody here talks **** about her. I'm curious about the reason.

I don't talk **** about her, I think an Overwatch rep or even a Blizzard rep, in general, is pretty slept on.

Blizzards got fan favorite characters, they're massively successful and influential, they're a pick that isn't speculated so they would be a "surprise" like Joker, and Nintendo was getting REAL buddy-buddy with Blizzard for Diablo 3 Switch (Amiibo, Ganondorf in Diablo 3, etc.).
