Y'all are focusing on my bet but completely forgetting the ****ing gauntlet @TotsBS is facing.

If we don't get any of the following he loses the Scott persona, the main gimmick of his account.

• Erdrick is our next reveal
• Banjo at E3
• Heihachi at EVO

I don't necessarily understand the full conditions of it, but from my understanding all three have to happen for him to win, which is ****ing brutal.

Aaaalmost got it, but there are some corrections. Here's the main jist of it.

Due to how unpredictable Smash DLC can be, either of the following has to happen.

• Banjo & Kazooie @ E3 2019. Not in a Direct, nor in a future Direct. E3 or nothing.
• Heihachi @ EVO 2019. Straight up announcement and not another Smash Direct announcement.

These are seen as HEAVY long shots due to how very specific these bets are, so if at least one of these are right, I'm safe. Figured I'd make that rule to keep things fair with how insane the calls are.

My main reasons for Banjo have been said numerous times, but my main reason for Heihachi is that I feel that, in some way, since Incineroar was such a pivotal moment for Smash Ultimate speculation and hype, I could see Heihachi's inclusion as a tribute to his Japanese VA, who also voices Heihachi in Tekken. Japanese devs tend to do something special in any way for close/fallen devs, and I wouldn't be surprised if Heihachi were to be in Smash Ultimate, this would be one of them.

So while I'm going up against some serious stuff, I wanted to at the very least, keep things fair enough for not me, but also everyone who's invested in the Scott persona.

I think Banjo at E3 is pretty likely though.

If Banjo is in, which he currently has a good amount going for him, E3, a Western-centric event, would be the perfect place to reveal him.

What? From my experience this year has been last year but worse, I can't wait for the "Cat in the hat" leak for a Season 2 with Geno, Isaac, Phoenix Wright, Dixie/Other 1st party and [Insert Retro Rep here].

But if you really want examples, we have had what looks to be the first amazing video game movie, Dora the ****ing explorer is getting a live action film that could honestly pass for the college humor trailer, Sonics got a movie.

The grinch took everyone on a wild ride and stole smash speculation. Reggie is retiring, a bunch of gaming communities are being torn apart with allegations, in the past year we’ve lost big names in the world.

Ridley and K. Rool got into ****ing smash in the same game, Geno who was thought to be confirmed got bodied again(still mad).

I could honestly name much more but I wasnt even arguing. I stated an opinion I didn’t even need responses too.

I’ll be honest I could care less if ederick gets in. There’s way more interesting choices to me. But that’s my opinion. If your a fan then good for you. I don’t have to be and I don’t need to support theories that can be wrong.

It's definitely in the realm of possibility, don't get me wrong.

But at this point, my default stance on most highly speculated characters is just minor skepticism.

I've given up on trying to figure out who's in, especially since I already bought the pass. To me, it's just a matter of who I'm actually getting for that money I spent.

As long as I'm either neutral or happy towards 3 of them, then my purchase was worth it. Joker already checks off 1 of those 3.

Regarding Heihachi @ EVO, that I have seen at least 2 or 3 people making it, I have a question to ask:

Are you seriously expecting Nintendo to announce a character in the death anniversary for a Japanese VA in an event that mainly concerns US when the main argument is respect for said actor but most likely will have a new VA due to need recording for the game? (Plus you know Heihachi has gone through 4 VAs in Japan right?)

Honestly unless they prerecorded lines before his death or he is silent, it doesn't make sense in a lot of levels but feel free to believe.

I respect your opinion I just don't agree that 2019 ha been crazy so far, I wasn't trying to argue either I was just joking around. I don't even think your opinion is wrong as there is no such thing as a "Wrong" opinion unless it's something hateful like ****talking other Genders and Sexualities which you didn't do, otherwise Opinions are subjective and that's that.

I disagree about Erdrick being misinformation but I will respect your opinion, I was just joking.

Though I also disagree that this year has been crazy sure there were crazy things that happened in it like that Dora Movie and Nintendo allowing an Indie to use the Zelda Franchise but I wouldn't call the year crazy for that, I would say last year was way more wild with "EVERYONE IS HERE!" that was such a mic-drop moment and the entire Speculation Cycle was crazy last year like the Grinch Hoax.

I can agree to the Geno thing though, I'm still disappointed that Geno didn't get in with him being one of the big three while Ridley/K. Rool got in. It's sad but he still has a Chance for a potential Season 2.

Furthermore, no one ever told you your opinion was wrong. It was the evidence you were using to argue for it that was.

You want to believe Erdrick won't be in the game? That's fine. People like Pyra and @ShinyLegendary don't believe Erdrick will be in and I respect them as much as any of the other regulars on this site. But you were trying to argue for your opinion and that's where you ran into a problem. @ShinyLegendary does that too sometimes and I react in the same way and fact check him. Well, that's true. But it's more of a "Given an option between X and Y, I'd love X, but I'd only just like Y." Like, I'd be more than fine with Erdrick, but a part of me, really loves 2B and his inclusion more or less doesn't have her as an addition.

I'm not exactly pushing for a "I want both" type of impossibility.
