The thing is, while we all don't really see it, Banjo & Kazooie literally have what Erdrick has at the moment, but has a bit more going for him -- a near-spotless info broker. Erdrick's got Tansut, Banjo & Kazooie's got PolarPanda.

What makes the sweeteners are the 20 years of requests, if we go by that Melee poll back in 1999, and in addition, Nintendo and Microsoft's relationship, with things such as Cuphead, Minecraft and the upcoming Rare Replay and Ori @ E3 reveal, if we're going by the rumor mill by PolarPanda + NateDrake.

BUT.

There's also that chance things can go VERY wrong. We were all on the Vergeben train until it reached it's "Square rep first" stop. Then the ride not only crashed, but it snowballed into something not many times a speculation cycle can have.

I wanna remain hopeful. If I can't get Rex & Pyra, then dammit, I'm putting all my mother****ing chips on this one and

Didn't Polar's source said that he only heard Banjo as a rumor from a single person? I think he is likely but you pretty much jumped the gun regarding the bet.

Yep this whole bet this has made the drought so much more bearable in an otherwise boring and long drought.
