To be honest, I was pessimistic about Incineroar because of the Grinch leak.
Even with several people telling me in private Incineroar was in fact in the game, I took a "I'll beleive it when I see it with my own eyes" attitude so that my hopes wouldn't be raised and crushed.

....I never want to re-live this game's speculation season, in all honesty.

Cheer up, you got who you wanted and the haters got denied. Unfortunately my two most wanted characters(Waluigi and Ashley) for this speculation cycle were assist trophies and their supporters got lynched and made fun of by a lot of people. This speculation cycle was bitter sweet for me, it had a lot of cool stuff that I never thought I'd see, but the hatred and despicableness from parts of the Smash community is something I'm not gonna forget.

I strongly doubt it’ll be a smash specific direct... but we’ll see. I do think it’ll be a normal direct that happens to highlight smash a bit more, though.

We already know about Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Bayonetta, Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Pokemon, Link's Awakening and Mario Maker, all supposedly coming in 2019. What else could they possibly wow us with at E3 if they show us even more in the middle of April?

I'unno. I don't remember us talking about it.

I need more melody in my metal, so 80s thrash metal has never been at the top of my list. I actually grew up on grunge, so a lot of our tastes probably won't match up. Machine Head, though, was my entry point into more Pantera and Metallica, so I really like them.

I would say the best albums for you to check out and see if you like them are Burn My Eyes and The More Things Change for their 90s sound, then The Blackening and Unto the Locust for their modern sound. Skip The Burning Red and Supercharger. They won't be your thing.

It was a bad phase where Robb Flynn wore a backwards ball cap onstage like Fred Durst.

I see. Trying to get into the other available subgenres has been something I wanted to do for a long time. I actually do have other interests, probably looking at progressive and speed metal.

Zinith also suggested to me Gojira. so clearly I should expand from just one decade, before I stale it out for myself. At least I thought that.

If this mode's gonna be the be all end all YUUUUGE update people have been waiting for with new modes, wouldn't it make sense to just release Joker now-ish and save the BIG patch for E3?

****ing Smash For's and the entire Smash community actively wanting Snake gone and ****ting on him and his fans because he "didnt fit" was the ****ing worst. On top of that people **** on Ike because he was DEFINITELY going to be replaced because "flavor of the month like Roy".

I ****ing hated Smash For's Speculation so I 100% see where you're coming from here man. At least you got your character despite the naysayers though.

Probably Mario Maker 2 (cos they probaby wanna talk about that a little some time before e3, by which time they'll be on 'last push' mode for its marketing) and a section for Smash. Can also perhaps see the Prime Trilogy finally being announced and maybe surprise DLC announced for a game (dunno which one though)
