Simple is it possible for a independent person, not backed up by any official organization, to get on a shuttle and go to space?

I’m likely never gonna go to New Hampshire in my lifetime and yet I’m not questioning its existence. I feel like this doesn’t need to be debated.

That's the thing you can go to New Hampshire you can go anywhere on earth, and get there in 3 days or more but can you go far beyond it? I don't know.
