They're not.

They're auctioning off all the show's costumes and materials now, which is, like, as final as final can get. I think I saw the head writer got a new gig already.

I don't think I've ever been as upset by a show getting prematurely canned since Arrested Development. Even then, I think Daredevil's worse since I started watching Arrested Development after it had already been cancelled.

Daredevil is my favorite superhero. And he actually had a ****ing good show.

I was trying to think of any shows recently that ended on cliffhangers or just too early, and I don't know how Daredevil didn't cross my mind. All I could think of was the Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Spider-Man Unlimited (the show only I care about), and Spectacular Spider-Man. Spider-Man's had it pretty rough.

At least the last season of Daredevil ended on a mostly tied-up resolution with just one insubstantial cliffhanger. You could cut that cliffhanger out and call it the finale and it'd work.

There's also hope that in a couple years Disney can revive it once the Netflix contract expires, provided the cast and crew are able and willing to come back on board.

EDIT: Wait what, auctions? Huh?

Yeah, the bad thing is that people wanted to blame Disney for this but in actuality this one's on Netflix. Instead of having good shows with properties people love they want to make their own mediocre content so that they can sell toys and merchandise based off of them...
