With the exception of Grookey (which was already my least favorite, so I'm totally fine with this), I actually love these designs.
One of my biggest complaints with recent starters' final evos is how they always seem to be designed with a special shtick in mind. Emboar was a wrestler, Greninja was a ninja, Delphox was a mage, Incineroar was... also a wrestler, Decidueye was an archer, Primarina was a singer, and so on. These designs look closer to what we got in earlier Gens (more generic with no specific theme), and that's a much appreciated change.
Also, the odds of people requesting this Grookey evo to get in Smash over the other two seems slim, so I'm all on board.
So we're going step by step through the theoretical production process of Morphine right now because apperently it encompasses everything we learned the past few lectures

Speaking of spoilers though, is there any agreed timeframe for when it becomes okay to spoil stuff? Cos Zelda's down b was a massive spoiler. But Melee came three years after OoT (exactly three years, to the day), so was that long enough?

I'd say that logic only applies if the game is serialized.
For games that are in a series, but are otherwise standalone (like, say the Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy) then spoiling the game because the next game is out wouldn't be cool.
