No it's a question to the others that whine "stop talking about politics". Not a specific person

Then I'll respond to your original question. You have every right to talk about politics here and everyone else has the right to not want to debate it because debating politics is a tiring hobby for many. I'm an outsider looking in and the "talk" going on has pretty much taken half to almost all of the thread, and the same four or five people would have dominated the thread with it if not for other people trying to turn away from it with pizza memes. If I'm to believe Pakky, then this is also a consistent occurrence. No wonder people are tired of it.

Follow your own advice on this one. If you don't like it when people tell you to stop talking about politics, why don't you leave? Osby directed you to the best place you can debate these topics.

Discussing politics is only helpful/useful when both sides present valid arguments and thoughts, and can have a modicum of respect for each other. Debating can be useful, but arguing can't. All I've seen on this thread so far is arguing and demonizing the opposition's point of view. If people want to discuss politics, I'd recommend thinking through the presentation of your point of more thoroughly in a way that conveys the message you're trying to get across in a way that will cause people to consider your point of view. Phrasing things as attacks or insults rarely does this. Also, hope everyone is having a great day, and if any of you guys live in NZ, I hope you're okay.

I don't like this subject as it makes me uncomfortable so all I'm going to say is both ends of the spectrum have their flaws which is why I classify myself as an independent. Also the shooting that happened recently was a tragedy may the people who died Rest In Peace.
