Well, I did watch only the early seasons, so I don't really understand what you're saying.

Nowadays there are cartoons and all of them are always bad, but I know that Spongebob isn't a bad cartoon, just never got into it.
Do you even watch cartoons?

Of the western cartoons that have debuted over the past two decades, I've only liked a few of them. Thankfully, the ones I did like, I really liked. It's extremely dismissive and close minded to lump them all together as being bad.

Question:

Do you feel that people get sad/mad at a character not getting in because it was the only chance they had be in a roster where Everyone Is Here and fight in the same game with characters like :ultcloud::ultsnake::ultyounglink::ultpichu: that have a high chance of getting cut and never appearing again?
Does me getting sad that layton isnt in because I know he will never be in smash count? because I was SAD

Same here. I also used to watch Spongebob, Alvin and the Chipmunk and such things. However, when I grew up, I realized how infantile those cartoons were. They were very stupid, and very boring. They don't give a single ***king plot. They give me boring episodes that I never ever enjoy.

For this reason alone, I completely stopped watching cartoons, instead looking forward to animes. Animes have a actual plot, and they could teach something to kids..
Yes clearly cartoons are incapable of having a plot or teaching lessons to kids.

Now, this opinion would probably get me ran off the boards, but I was never truly into anime. Like, I tried watching some in middle school, and nothing really clicked with me. Some of them just felt the same, and a lot of them just weren't good. The only one I'm into now is MHA, or BHNA, and that's because it reminds me so much of a western cartoon.

OPINION: I find Spiderverse to be slightly overrated. Dont get me wrong, its great, but I find that a lot of its flaws are ignored.

Yeah I agree. BNHA kinda got boring quickly for me, because the formula runs dry real quick. Fullmetal Alchemist is really dang good though,

If 3D animation can count as cartoon, some of the actually good cartoons were Disney cartoons, especially Mickey Mouse - but it was because it actually taught something. My sister has even visited a Disneyland at one point in her life, I think a year ago or two.

Tbf, there isn’t a perfect movie.
But Spider-Verse was a fantastic Spider-Man movie, and even one of the best comic book movies ever done.

Into The Spider-Verse.
Being honest, seeing the movie during December felt therapeutic for me back then.
Seriously, I found it that good.
Because it IS that good.

Same here, except I got really bored with BNHA. Everyone just seems to be a stereotype.

Also, Spongebob had an episode dealing with racism AND another one dealing with sexism. In fact, it did it better than a lot of shows that try to portray the same message.
These are some good lessons.
Saying animated shows are "for kids" is very vague. G-rated does not equal kids. It means for everybody.

Also guess this quote.
"Today is a good day to try."
That show was my childhood, but looking back at it I don't know how it managed to get onto Cartoon Network as a kids show.

My sister still refuses to rewatch the King Ramses episode, and I think I traumatized my cousin with it.

I hope this does not come out as offensive.

True. It really was a breath of fresh air. Finally, a great non MCU superhero movie.

Could you remind me which episodes those were again?

Also it just hit me a few months ago that “Hooked” was an allegory for drug addiction, in my defense I haven’t see that episode in years.

It wasn't very therapeutic for me, but entertaining as heck.
This movie alone has made me a Spiderman fan, so that's pretty cool.
I would love to death a Fantastic Four movie done in a similar style.

One of the best things from the First Family comics are the settings of the adventure, which could get as wacky as the artist of the book wanted to while feeling natural. Imagine the movie taking place in locations as visually astounding as the one from the final battle of ITSV or worlds full of beings that look splendid thanks to the artstyle and visual elements.

I don’t think it will be possible at the moment, but I would be hyped as hell when I find something like that announced.

Spongebob also had an episode about memes that has aged really well considering current internet culture (Ripped Pants).

Everything about this is true.

There’s a difference between “for kids” and “appropriate.”

I do think it's because the movie was overhyped, though. Hyping too much can usually lead to disappointment.
idk i was being told it was the second coming of christ by friends and still came out thinking "you know what yeah"

Kinda like the Detective Pikachu film. Both trailers make it apparent that it isn't a kids film, its a family film.
