The purple and yellow chairs theory was still the stupidest thing conducted by Smash fans.

If anything, I thought the Moon hurted Skull Kid’s chances because it was such an obvious Final Smash for him.

Her trailer was boring as hell. The most boring out of all Newcomer trailers since the beginning of Smash 4. There was no hype at all for it. I knew it was Smash the moment it said "Not Actual Gameplay" too so there was no surprise there either.


Isabelle's trailer was boring as hell but was appropriate for the character. And it was a good trailer because it lead us right into Animal Crossing Switch and that was dope.

Hard disagree but alright.

I liked her trailer more than a lot of the other ones, TBH. Not everything needs to be "LOUD HYPE REMIX WITH EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE AND EDGY SPLASH-SCREENS" like Ridley, but eh, to each their own.

Because Mii Costumes DID in up being characters, you just got & instead of Geno and Tails.

Was talking about Ridley's specifically.

The other ones still had the theme of grandstanding, and while I like that in Smash reveal trailers, the novelty of Isabelle's was that it wasn't that. It fit her character and AC perfectly, and as someone who grew up with that series and loves it to death, it was very hype for me.

Another is Papyrus (Undertale).

"Brave" is written in English and Undertale is a western indie game. Papyrus is Brave. Deltarune referenced Smash also, and that's a spiritual successor/PU to Undertale.
