Recent datamine on Nintendo's servers shows that 2.0.0 is getting ready to go. Supposedly coming next week with the plant.

Splatoon lore is like Kirby lore.

Not many people know it exists and just assume the games have zero writing substance when they're both some of Nintendo's most intriguing worlds.

I didn't like Isabelle's trailer cos of the lack of crossover. The whole thing also felt like 'just get to the point already'. The same was true for the Animal Crossing announcement which kind of just ... happened. I get that not every game has to have a Twilight Princess-tier style announcement (which still to this day is the hypest **** ever, regardless of what you think of the game itself) and that Animal Crossing is more suited to something mellow. But all the buildup really dragged on and kind of ruined it: I'd much rather something like the Metroid Prime 4 announcement which, even though it was also just a title, came out nowhere and was a real 'holy ****' moment.

Animal Crossing's still my most anticipated game of this year ... I just think it (and Isabelle) could have been introduced slightly better

Pretty sure the K. Rool vs. Snake match also demonstrated his nair having belly armor... I do agree it could have been better accented, but as someone who supported K. Rool, the trailer showed me the part I cared more about, and that was him having a moveset that was faithful to him as a character. The armor gimmick is great fun to play with, but it's not why I main K. Rool. I think he won people over regardless of his gimmick being unclear thanks to charm alone.

As someone who had K.Rool in their top 3 back in 2015, I went "Oh **** he's actually in? **** yeah show me what he can do!" And when the trailer ended me and 3 people who never heard of K.Rool went "That was thoroughly disappointing". There needs to be more than "He's in!" to make it truly exciting. Otherwise you could have the entire cast have the same moveset and get the same kind of hype

All I hope for out of 2.0.0

- Little Mac's midair Jolt Haymaker can be used again after being hit out of it
- Marth gets his kill confirms back
- The Chrombo remains untouched


Seriously don't get rid of the Chrombo it's hype af.

The best part about maining Mii Gunner is that oftentimes my opponents seem totally bewildered and unsure of what my game plan could possibly be.

They should add a George Washington skin for Villager. Down Special is replaced with a cherry tree, up special is flying with a firework, side special is an American flag, and final smash is building the White House.

It's because they don't know what specials you have until you're already a stock and 50% in and I love it

Unfortunately everyone already knows I'm running Gale Strike and Hero's Spin whenever I use Swordfighter

My Gunner is 2112, which is a very rarely used kit; which is by design.
